I’m a pensioner on the low state pension plus an work pension of a couple hundred a month, I won’t put the heating on I don’t even like to cook anything due to the costs, but to keep warm I think of old Hana up their on the farm in Yorkshire hills, no central heating , no running water, she survived all that bless her, so I’ll wrap up in warm clothes and duva’s to keep warm.

I will never accepted means tested, I rather dye. I worked through my life and safe for later days, I am almost 78 year old still working , not expecting hands out. In my younger years I seldom had holidays, so why should I be tested for any illegitimacy,- I absolutely disagree to be treated worst than criminals…

I am coming up to my retired age in a months time i i got up this morning with back pain i have worked hard all my life driving a truck every thing that went on my truck and off was by my own toil i am suffering with body wear and tare i will have to work for a few more years to live as the pension wont cover my costs bet starmer and his cronies wont be working at 66 with back pain he is the most hated tyrant he wants to go

In a six moth period I paid about £600 for my fuel bills then following the Nord Stream bombing my six monthly bill went to £1400 and I found myself in £800 arrears. I've struggled to get the arrears down to about £250 just in time for the winter increase in fuel bills which has had a drastic effect on my health. Now Councils are lobbying to have the single person's reduction in Council Tax removed. So that's another £460 I'll have to find. I'm over 70 and already living close to the edge and feel this could be the thing that tips me over.
I assume all these labour mps intend leaving the UK once they're booted from power...they will not b welcome anywhere and it won't be forgotten by millions of patriots.🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴

The reason that not everybody will agree with the decisions you make is that they are not costed. You claimed cancelling WFA would save £1.4billion. Now that Pension Credit claims have gone through the roof, it is estimated that the saving will be half that, around £750million. NOT COSTED. If you persist with changing the rules around "non-dom status" it will COST the Treasury money, and so not generate any revenue. NOT COSTED. It was claimed that charging VAT on private school fees would raise £1.3BILLION. That did not account for the numbers of pupils withdrawn from private schools so reducing fees, so eliminating, in those cases, VAT revenue. In addition, no allowance was made for those schools that would now have to register for VAT which would allow them to reclaim the VAT incurred on goods and service spends during the previous four years. NOT COSTED. No, the reason "not everybody will agree with the decisions...." is because you are clearly incompetent. I now fear that your errors will force you to make another "tough decision" in the October budget and cancel the triple lock.

Starmer and his smug labour activists know that there are many barriers stopping elderly people claiming pension credit.
Barriers like complex form filling. Barriers like pensioners being the least capable internet and computer using members of society. Elderly people in my community voice how terrifying the increasing online dependance of government agencies is for them. Little or no help is available to them.
Also, the elderly have a dread of asking for handouts and they do not benefit from the attention of human rights activist organisations, in the way some groups do.
Therefore, the government probably will save money by clawing money from the elderly. In s perfect world, this decision would end up costing the government more. However, Reeves is cynically taking full advantage of the elderly communities vulnerability.
We will see a stream of labour 'Squealers', delivering their smug, platitude laiden, dogmatic jargon to the media.
The facts speak for themselves and even Animal Farm's famous Squealer would have a hard time talking them down.
