Thank you so much for the recipe easy to follow and easy to write ingredients down. I’ve watched recipes before and you don’t even get the quantities so I am very grateful. Unlike some who are ungrateful. Please keep sharing xx
Well! What a load of grumpy people. It’s looks a lovely recipe and I usually watch videos more than once if I am going to cook the recipe. So I will exercise my hand while I’m watching for the second time because I will definitely be making these scones to go with my roasted pepper and tomato soup. So take a chill pill people and just get on with it. There are much worse things going on in the world. Thank you for posting this recipe. ❤
Thank you will give this a try and glad they are no eggs. I normally make my scones without eggs as I do not eat them. Egg lovers can add if they desire.
Hey Tasmina..I've never tried this recipe using self-raising flour hence i cannot say much. But if you are planning to use self-raising flour I guess you have to alter the amount of baking powder or even completely omit it. My personal opinion is that you should follow the given recipe and i can guarantee that you won't be disappointed. Good luck!
@mosey2672 💯agree, If these you tubers are wanting people to like, subscribe and share their videos, imo they should post the recipe ~and~ dare I say post the American measurements. Of course we can rewatch the video, we can convert European measurements to American cups, ounces, etc. but tbh I will pass on these videos I’ll watch videos where the recipe is posted and I don’t have to take the time to do that (Most times Americans do post the recipe) Lots of you tubers out there to choose from, just sayin!
@@momma3204it all depends on the individual whether they have conversions on to American weights and measures, I have watched a fair few American bakers that don't convert to metric
I don't know where she is based, but I've seen these called scones in similar videos. In some countries, England for example, American-style cookies are actually called biscuits. Scones are a close cousin to American biscuits and the name helps avoid confusion.
Why do you call the biscuits when they are not biscuits, biscuit is from the Italian word Biscoti which mean twice baked in order to make them crunchier scone in the English language is a much older word than biscuit is having hailed from Scotland in the 14th century, Centuries before America and it's curious form of biscuits was even thought about

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
Excelente pero me gustaría que tuviera subtítulos en español. 🥰
Hiya can we use self raising powder
You can use it. Just dont add the baking powder then.
How about adding an egg??
so you don't need to add butter in addition to this? I thought you need butter then add cheese.
Yes, she added 100g of butter then worked it in before cheese. Easily missed 😊
@@Rustymouse oh wow your right missed that entirely, thanks!! I just knew your supposed to have butter!
No sugar? I will add 1 TBSP sugar
No egg added?????
That's right..you don't need eggs for this recipe.

That’s a lot of baking powder no wonder they rise I make them with a lot less and they rise fine. But then I am English lol 😂
Why do you not post the recipe? We shouldn’t have to watch the video again to write it out. I will unsubscribe.
uhhhhhhh
I wrote it down, not hard to do. No need to unsubscribe because of this. But maybe a written recipe would be easier for some people. Its a good one 👌

They are scones...'biscuits' are a mutilation of the scone!
Scones do not necessarily need eggs.
