Played with an actual CD-ROM in my computer. No virtual machine or emulator was used.
There were multiple issues that I encountered while running on PC. I played in fullscreen mode, with partial controller controls. For menuing, I was forced to press Escape and Enter on my keyboard. The same issue that caused the keymapping issue prevented me from using livesplit. I found a way around this by setting a delay before each run, and having my previous boss segments to serve as a benchmark for my attempts. The previous world record was 20:50 by MasterLeoBlue. My first attempt landed a 22:41, my second a 20:51, and the third finished run was this 19:23. I hope this doesn't translate into being unoptimal; I did a lot of practice and runs through the other PS1/N64 categories, so I was very well rehearsed. This slightly pales in comparison to my 21:38 on PS1 (which can be seen here: • A Bug's Life (PS1) "An... ) due to lackluster menuing and small timelosses in Anthill, Part Two. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh that run, first time seeing a speedrun of this game, used to play it 100% over and over again as a kid, one of the best disney games i ever had!

This game looks so good on PC, but the sounds effects though, they're weird.
You managed to do the entire game in the amount of time it took my siblings and me to complete one level!
And none of us got past level 7.
(I'm not sure if I ever even got past level 2!)

idk if this glitch has been found already, or if it even saves time, but I found a way to levate into the air a while ago on riverbed canyon. Maybe it would save time by eliminating the need to get the green coins.
It is used on the N64 version of the game in Any% and 100%.

I know the any percent rules state "from a clean file nothing unlocked, no extra/missing lives, no tokens awarded" but does the "full game" actually mean playing every level or can you just glitch to the last stage? Because if it's the latter boy do I have some news for you

Is the ps vita the best way to speedrun this game?
PC version is fastest, but PSTV is the best platform to play the PS version. There is also an N64 version, and each version has small differences.

I played off of an actual CD-ROM disc in my computer, so I haven't had the emulator files for this ever. It may be easier to find somebody on the leaderboards (speedrun.com/abl) who has an [emu] tag next to their run! Sorry I couldn't be of much more help.
