July 1st in Quebec is moving day. (Most leases begin on that day...) so the day after (today) usually starts the painting and repairing... so this video is exactly on topic for those of us here. I'm not moving this time around but I've painted more places on July 2nd than I care to mention, and it's making me feel like it really *is* July in seeing all this.
Love seeing cats with lots of energy. Mine will play for about 1 to 2 min then just lay down and take a nap right where he is doesn't matter where he is. He has always been like this but now that he is 16 he has slowed down with the playing a bit even more. Lucky to get 30 sec out of him. If we leave him alone for a week sometimes he will run around the house like theirs no tomorrow. I love him so much. He is a big orange tabby.

Around here some repair plaster comes in a toothpaste tube sort of affair with a pointed nozzle on the end specifically to fill screw holes, to save time. However if that's not can option, most pharmacies have large needle-less syringes for giving babies medicine and other liquids, they're dishwasher safe too. You can get one of those, fill it with drywall patching medium and as long as the plaster is washed off before it dries it should be reusable.
Rachel & Jun's Adventures! I know its too late but I've never seen putty that soft/liquid every time I've used it its much more thick and is scraped on so it leaves the wall smooth :) maybe its a bit different in australia
It would be great if Jun and Rachel each did a draw my life so we could understand their family, like how many siblings, whose the eldest, where were they born, a funny childhood story, where they went to school and what they studied, what we're their job aspirations before TH-cam. That kinda thing. I think it'd be really interesting and something not too hard to film since they've just moved house, just need a whiteboard, markers, and eraser

To paint ceilings you should use a roller with a longer nap, which will get into the details of the ceiling better. Multiple coats may be required to get full coverage, but there are new products on the market such as ceiling paints that apply a fluorescent color and then dry a flat white to help you get appropriate coverage. I hope that he planned on changing the carpeting after painting because rolling walls with no drop cloth can result in a lot of unwanted splatter from the roller onto the floor. I'm sure that you also found out that a lot of that splatter comes back on the painter as well.
I think there's a way of lacing your shoes so that you can just slip them on/off. Also Rachel, I recommend taking melatonin with you on your next trip to visit your family in the states. Having a set routine that you don't deviate from also helps you acclimate to jet lag really fast too. When I went to Shanghai for 6 weeks, I was able to shake off a 13 hour time difference within a few days because I was getting up at the same time every morning to go to school.
Super cute kitties!!! When kitties do that slow blink to you, it means, "I love you" or I'm very comfortable with you. You can get them to do it when they stare at you. Just catch a stare, then slow blink like she just did and she/he will do it back usually if they love you and they're not running around playing at the time.

The smaller girl looks just like my kitty! Shes part Persian, so is super fluffy. But shes got really stumpy legs, and a kinda stumpy grumpy face because she has dwalfism. Likely hereditary from the Persian side. It's apparently really common in Persian cats, as it emphasises their short muzzels, which is seen as a desirable trait for the breed.

Now, my dad was a painter for a few dozen years (not the most glamorous job), and when I was younger I would sometimes go along, and I was allowed to do simple tiny things like removing the covers on electrical sockets and a few other small things and somehow I wasn't bored while doing it. anyways, so he was a foreman for the company he worked for and was pretty good at his job, and since I was there a few times I got to see him paint, and even from back then I still remember how he did it, and he did NOT cut corners at all and was very "do it right or get out" more or less. so seeing this with just, ugh, even how Rachel was filling holes hurt to see nvm the painting. I think every second of watching this was doing critical hits to my brain lol. I guess at least when Rachel was using the roller on the wall it wasn't that bad but the rest, ugh. no offence but just saying.
