Great truck snd video. I inherited a 1948 F1 from my uncle also. Was used by my family on the farm and around the SF bay area. First used on farms in the California Delta. It is all orginal. Sold as cab and chassis. Then, It had a flat bed on for farm use. Still running !😊

A rare survivor. Nice that it's still used and not in a museum or collecting dust. Great that it's pretty much all original aside from the usual things that wear out. Awesome that it isn't all chopped up and hot rodded and lowered with modern wheels slapped on it. Nothing disappoints me more than seeing a butchered classic.

Nice truck, I got a 51… the wiper motor runs of vacuum, so when the engine is under load manifold vacuum decreases…. and then increases on idle.

You can use ethanol gas if you buy some Marvel Mystery Oil and add it to the gas tank. You can use Lucas oil and gas treatment as well. I called my Car dealer and the technician told me that I could use those treatments.
