Had a 351 Windsor in my 56 Ford f-100 back in the day. That is one sweet beauty I wish I had! Thanks for taking the time to produce this well done video! From a Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran.
@@JacobNovoselStudios A thanks to you too for getting this video out. We as Vietnam Era veterans never got a Thank you back then. Thanks for honoring a Veteran! Keep on creating.....
As Jacob said, thank you. And thank you for watching. We both had a great time building this truck, and I am overwhelmed by all the kind comments we have been getting here and hearing everyone's old truck stories.

I have fond memories of riding in my grandfather's F1 engine similar to your s removed. It wasn't very fast , he did lots of work on fa with that old truck
this old truck did some work too. the last the old 6 cyl engine ran it was so tired it had to be backed up steep hills in reverse gear because it was lower than first gear.
Thanks for watching! 9Inch would be a good improvement, but after looking over the original one in the truck, it was fairly heavy built and had the gears ratio we wanted and gears looked great. So we left it in.
Very nice post . I am getting set up to put a Windsor in a 52 M3 . Looks like I can use the stock steering ? Looks like you got the engine crossmember from Early Ford . . What headers finally fit ? Thank You
You can and I personally think its cooler that way . I got patriot block hugger headers from summit racing and the crossmember is from CCP classic profomance products.
Good choice. I believe they were patriot block hugers from summit racing. I had a dozen different headers on it before I found those biggest problem was getting around the factory steering box
I enjoyed this very much , looks like you guys did a great job . Did yall have any cooling problems ? I've subscribed keep them videos coming . Be safe my friends .
Thank you ! we did have the original radiator record . its does great job cooling . Haven't had any troubles with it. Was a fun project to put together
Looks exactly like mine . Rebuilt straight 6 flatly. 3 speed on the floor. Black with white wheels. Have fun.

LOVE this truck! Excellent job! 👏👏👏
Thank you! 👍
Nice work! Really liked what you did!
I like the music😃! And thank you for putting my video in it
I had a 49 F1 with a flathead v8. My ex bought if for my 21st birthday to haul my dirt bike. That was almost 52 years ago.
Wow that would be a great birthday present just the right size bed to haul a bike too
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼, congratulations 😊
Thank you!!

Thank you for using a Ford engine in a Ford. It’s a rare thing these days lol
I totally agree its nice to see a ford with a ford drivetrain!
That is the only intelligent thing to do. A Chevy would have been cheaper, but that would be pure foolishness.

Nice job! Thanks for not putting a chebby engine in. You may consider a Ford 9" rear axle some day.

What a fantastic find..
Where did you get the crossmember for the V8...
Its a nice old truck gets lots of attention everywhere it goes. I bought the Crossmember on eBay it was made by CCP Classic Performance Products.

What a nice project, how much money do you spend in everything?
It's hard to put a number on it as this was done across a 3 year period.
Great job on the truck! Just wondering what headers you used? I’m building the exact same truck and want to put headers on my 351.
Thanks for watching. Patriot block huggers got them from Summit Racing
I am also going to put a 351 w in my 48 F1. What headers did you use?

@@leehopkinsenterprises Thank you. I was concerned about getting around the steering as well.
Once I found those it was a breeze couple elbows off the end, and you could do anything you want from there.

100 % nice . Yeah I'm a ford man , own a 46 tudor drive a f-150 everyday driver AND my wife's madden name is FORD ha ha how about that .
Seemed like stiffer shocks might be called for
It actually rides impressively smooth for the amount of springs under it
You did not mention what you did to the drive shaft.
I actually had one out of a 78 lincoln that fit perfectly
