This guy is a real chef he knows what he is doing, am a cook myself and I know a real chef, he is very humble and sweet and definitely a good husband and father God bless him
At least matoke gives Kenyans an alternative to ugali, not that is bad change is always good. Let's embrace all our foods people on the continent, we survived conv for a reason.
For the sake of critic, the Abagusii's normally don't mash their Matoke's, mashing is usually reserved for babies, (which I agree was in attendance) we cook them whole or in broken pieces, no mashing because we really appreciate the Matoke soup/sauce as part of the delicacy in accompaniment with other dry food. Thanks for the video though, nice family gathering.
I enjoyed the show and loved the simplicity of the meals. I wonder why the presenter didn't name the nyoyos right on the ingredient list, it was githeri while the chef called it nyoyo felt a little bit(not so respectful of his culture.
Really kind , generous and humble guy🙌

First time watching this I really really love this omg i live in jersey been here 28 years but still cook Kenyan meals!! I really love you for this!!

Kenyan developers need to plant trees and landscape the projects before building the houses. Beautiful country but very few trees.
Totally agree with you Chris
This is Ugandan style of cooking. There must be Uganda women behind this
Uganda matoke is purely steamed in banana leaves.
