he already told his fiancee the budget was $2k. he said what he's willing to spend on her, somebody needs to make sure her diva ass sticks to the budget.

I've been married for 30 years, and _I_ wouldn't stoop to committing such a walloping huge lie of omission. Heck, we run grocery orders and other expenditures past each other. It's stupid not to do otherwise. Starting a marriage out with her mindset is not healthy. And yeah -- if she and her fiance are "best friends," what need is Jody filling which she is not?

Oh so odd that the x is at this appointment, but I do think she helped the bride save her pending marriage. The dress was perfect for the glowing bride; beautiful! Monty saw jealousy, I saw a caring woman, who knew the budget was very important to the groom.
There is NO WAY IN HECK my Fiances ex would be anywhere near this appointment.
She's been with that man long enough to marry him... but she brought his ex along to help her find what HER man would like?? I would actually die before admitting another woman knows more about my man than I do. Ex needs to go.

she's worried about $1000 dress looking cheap but the $4500 dress she put on looked cheap as hell and made her look like a stuffed sausage. i don't see any jealousy from the ex, i don't see any sabotage, i see the groom's FRIEND trying to keep his fiancee's champagne tastes on a beer budget. the bride is already being hugely disrespectful of her groom by ignoring the budget he set for her and the ex is right, it's not JUST about the bride, she's not marrying herself and she's not paying for the dress herself so she needs to chill with the pricey gowns. and look, she found the perfect dress in the GROOM'S budget.
