2nd bride was smart. She went to 1st appointment without an entourage and narrowed down her favourite choices without being swayed by others. And then came back with her entourage so they could only approve dresses she already liked anyway.
I was thinking the same thing. I decided years ago that if I ever get married I’m going dress shopping alone. To hell with what everyone else thinks. They can stay home if they don’t like it.
She’s a very sweet bride. I actually preferred the first dress cuz it’s more her. Youthful, yet princess bride. She pulled it off beautifully. But that’s just my opinion^^ Second bride, I agree with her mom. The second dress was way better.
Grandma may be tough, but she does know how to read her granddaughters face! If the bride is happy and has the emotions, then that's all everyone needs.
It's rare I don't at all like the dress the bride picks, but this one just did nothing to flatter this pretty young lady. It looks like a tissue dress that some ladies might throw together at a bridal party game, and it looks like a dirty dishwater gray instead of white. She looked so much better in dress #1 which had a very "princessy" bodice and a flirty fun rosette skirt.
I loved the first bride's first dress. I really didn't like the raggedy effect of the skirt of the dress she chose. But, if she loved it and felt beautiful in it, that's all that matters.
Not really, she said she wanted Disney Princess and they are all classic timeless styles, they are not modern, you can’t have both , the one that Grandmother chose was classic Disney. You should hold off on being rude about someone’s Granny you don’t know the dynamics and the editing going on
Hack: If you have a dress you love show your entourage 2 dresses; first show them a dress you know they'll hate (for example, the 2nd bride's mom might not have liked the see through bodice) then show them the dress you love and say you love them both. They will root for the dress they like so you don't pick the (decoy) dress that they hate 🤭
I thought the 4th dress was the worst by far: too long-waisted, skirt material looked like used toilet paper, and not a good fit for her petite frame. But if grandma supposedly liked that, if means the whole episode was fake. Shocking!
When she opened her eyes nlooked at herself... That huge breath she took with the wooooow and she started crying gosh she made me emotional too like I love her reaction to herself when she got jacked up ❤
The grandma is the ONLY one who understood the assignment. Modern disney princess, she selected exactly that. Instead the bride went for Cinderella's torn dress look, you know after Anastasia and Drisella destroyed the original punk dress she was going to the ball in but just in ivory. Eww. The grandma gave in at the end because it made her granddaughter happy but I bet you she regrets to today that she gave it a nod of approval whenever she sees a marriage picture of granddaughter
I agree that the satin ballgown was a more classic look. And a really lovely gown. But when the bride said she could walk into any bridal salon and buy that dress, I knew it wasn’t the one for her. The first gown had a beautifully fitted top, and a fun skirt. Much better than 2 or 4. I didn’t care for the skirts on either of those. But that’s just my opinion.
It did kind of look like the princess had been in her wedding gown walking through an overgrown forest for years waiting for the spell to be lifted that would enable her to be with her prince and live happily ever after.
2nd bride - made a few selections (w/fiance, in her case, so he helped but he still won't really know) and THEN brought in the family! Very smart. Saves a lot of drama!!
That is the dress that I would want. I was thinking out loud “You don’t like that beautiful, perfect Princess gown with the hoop skirt, no less? Well, please hand it over to me!” 😂
remind me not to invite that grandma to any social gathering. she just put a damper on the whole situation. even when she liked the dress, she seemed aggravated.
The mothers and grandmothers have got to get over this,"I would not walk down the aisle in this" attitude. It's NOT their dress. It's the brides dress. You both had your chance. We don't care about your wedding. You don't get a do-over. It's youe daughter's or grandaughters day now.
This is why I told my girls I’ll see the dress after they picked out the one they loved. I would help with accessories and a veil if asked. It’s her wedding and not mine.
All three of the bride's picks were tacky, hot messes. They looked like someone glued a bunch of tissue paper together and then got busy with hedge clippers.
to be on the show you have to submit a description of the people you know and the producers pick who comes. They ant a story more than anything. They will also use prompting and editing to create bad situations that don't exist.
None of the bride's picks are anything like what I'd call a princess dress. Her picks are more like various versions of a feather duster made from toilet paper. But it is the bride's day so it should be her pick. Why doesn't anyone one at these bridal stores talk about how various styles affect the bride's shape? Do a bit of teaching. (Monte is so full of himself. He has nothing on Randy, who has class.)
When the first bride wanted to look like a Disney princess with a modern, funky twist I was sure she was going to say she wanted the old cliche of short but poofy dress to wear with cowboy boots.
Great family! Even if they didn’t like a dress, they made it their opinion and NOT telling the bride what to do. The brides pick, while lovely and so NOT Oklahoma, looked really heavy to me for dancing!
The dresses look so grey and often the bodice doesn’t match the skirt in colour. The styles seem very dated and I find Monty very irritating and childish- but it’s all pretty contrived being a ‘show’ and has to have the drama in order to make it more interesting!
Could have used any of those dresses to mop floors after the wedding. Except grandma’s pick. I didn’t like that one either. These episodes are so fake.
I have this fantasy. I own a bridal store, and every time a grown woman comes in and says she wants to be a princess, I point to the door and say, "'GET. OUT. NOW. ""
2nd bride was smart. She went to 1st appointment without an entourage and narrowed down her favourite choices without being swayed by others. And then came back with her entourage so they could only approve dresses she already liked anyway.
Oop I said that too but didn't know you said it already! sorry! So... Ditto! lol
I was thinking the same thing. I decided years ago that if I ever get married I’m going dress shopping alone. To hell with what everyone else thinks. They can stay home if they don’t like it.
That’s a really smart move
It is very smart
And make everyone happy too
Yah and the mom was right. The first dress was a mess, and the second one was much better
She’s a very sweet bride.
I actually preferred the first dress cuz it’s more her. Youthful, yet princess bride.
She pulled it off beautifully.
But that’s just my opinion^^
Second bride, I agree with her mom. The second dress was way better.
Horrible dresses ,esp the bottom
I think The first dress was perfect for her. It was the most Disney princess like, especially with what the Bride wanted
I hate these people who say " im very honest" no youre very cruel very rude and very very unkind.
TRUE
Lesson from the show. Go to appointment ALONE, , pick what you want and tell Everyone you can Only say you love it or keep shut
It never even occurred to me to bring anyone when I bought my dress! 1978, first dress I tried on, $75. Loved it!
The first dress was sweet with the rosettes. Did not like the last one. Glad the bride was happy though.
Grandma may be tough, but she does know how to read her granddaughters face! If the bride is happy and has the emotions, then that's all everyone needs.
Or maybe she was just fed up with trying to push her opinions on her granddaughter.
Completely agree. It's like she was just waiting to see the reaction that would tell her that was the dress.
I loved the first dress with the rosettes. She will be one of a kind in her hometown in her lazzaro dress.
Exactly what she wanted
It's rare I don't at all like the dress the bride picks, but this one just did nothing to flatter this pretty young lady. 100% agree! You described it perfectly.
I thought the same thing, it looks like a grey washrag.
Definitely!
Yes! 1000% i'm with you.
💯💯💯
I loved the first bride's first dress. I really didn't like the raggedy effect of the skirt of the dress she chose. But, if she loved it and felt beautiful in it, that's all that matters.
"Every fairytale has a villain" can't get more real...
amen

This is exactly what I thought!!!! Genius move!!!!
I thought the 4th dress was the worst by far: too long-waisted, skirt material looked like used toilet paper, and not a good fit for her petite frame. But if grandma supposedly liked that, if means the whole episode was fake. Shocking!
horrible
I'm sure the details look incredible up close, but from a distance, it looks like it got caught in a paper shredder.
Awful fit!
Agree, I did not see modern princess.
Did not care for the dress
When she opened her eyes nlooked at herself... That huge breath she took with the wooooow and she started crying gosh she made me emotional too like I love her reaction to herself when she got jacked up ❤
Second dress was STUNNING
In my head a princess dress is sparkly and floaty. The dropped waisted ones are not my favourites
Really hate the raggy ruffles and the stubby ruffles.....not to mention that the ruffles on the skirt are tattletale gray.
The grandma is the ONLY one who understood the assignment. Modern disney princess, she selected exactly that. The grandma looks like Ursula
🤣😂🤣😂👍🏼
😂 😅 😂 😅 😂 yep
And the villain music!
Oh dear. You're right. 😂😂😂😂 I feel so bad laughing but 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂 too true
Nana’s pick was really timeless and gorgeous. The bride’s own picks were dresses that she would look at in the future and say “What was I thinking?”
Nanas dress was terrible…
@@TuckyBlue_1 Good for you! Now that you made your contrarian comment for the day, you can go to bed sleep tight. Have a good night!

What is it with these dresses that look like the cat has just shredded them?!
I know, right?
It did kind of look like the princess had been in her wedding gown walking through an overgrown forest for years waiting for the spell to be lifted that would enable her to be with her prince and live happily ever after.
2nd bride - made a few selections (w/fiance, in her case, so he helped but he still won't really know) and THEN brought in the family! Very smart. Saves a lot of drama!!
Remind me never to take an apple from NaNa had me rolling! I loved the 1st one.
That dress looks like a child's craft project that's been through a shredder
The mom , was so chill with everything and loved all the gowns and dresses ... and i love that engry in this episode❤
Ummm her grandma look so mean the entire time. She didn’t even crack a smile not once geesh
Yes, not my kind of grandma either.
The grandma feels a bit inconsiderate, also Monty’s entrance music was so iconic.
Nana's choice was gorgeous, bride's taste was tacky but that is what she likes and it is her wedding.
I thought Nana's choice was very Disney princess.
I, too, thought that Nana’s choice was the best. It was truly timeless and regal.
I like the brides choices
Somebody... Looks like they haven't smiled in about 85 years! 🥺🤭
These southern brides are so young. No wonder they have juvenile taste.
I thought the satin dress was most flattering on her and most princess like.
I wish the first bride had kept the first dress with the rosettes, it was so pretty and it fit her perfectly.
In actuality, I like Nana's pick best, it's the most princessy. Princess dresses are big ballgowns
That is the dress that I would want. I was thinking out loud “You don’t like that beautiful, perfect Princess gown with the hoop skirt, no less? Well, please hand it over to me!” 😂
That dress was too old looking for this young bride. The last one wasn’t good either. The first two dresses were the best ones.
The bride is so pretty
Non of those liked like princess dresses.
Used tissue style dresses.
It's interesting to me that people confuse honesty with cruelty. One can be honest and kind, the two are not mutually exclusive concepts. Sad 😢
The first dress was the perfect Princess dress ❤
remind me not to invite that grandma to any social gathering. she just put a damper on the whole situation. even when she liked the dress, she seemed aggravated.
maybe she wasn't keen to be on TV. Or maybe it was just them repeatedly putting in shots of a sullen facial expression
Monte, my love, you are so right on with your comments❣️ Totally hilarious 😂 Keep it up
😘😍🤩
Monty's pick was atrocious
That dramatic music I great 😂😂😂
The music in this episode is fab.
Granma needs to smile
Love the expressive background music! Fit so well; it was humorous!
The granny shouldn’t have any opinion especially since these movies of princess ball gown were practically made around her era lol
Can we stop shredding up wedding dresses and claiming they're "modern"? They just look......terrible. Sorry but Grandma was right.
i like the first bride pick, they look beautiful ❤ the first try also nice
"I'm very honest" = "I'm a colossal a$$hole"
“Brutal honesty” is just an excuse for weak people to be mean
1st bride, the dresses looked like it was wearing her, instead of her wearing the dress.
Has she met Nana??? Why would she bring her?
The mothers and grandmothers have got to get over this,"I would not walk down the aisle in this" attitude. It's NOT their dress. It's the brides dress. You both had your chance. We don't care about your wedding. You don't get a do-over. It's youe daughter's or grandaughters day now.
All those dresses look so uncomfortable. The first bride looks swallowed up in those.
The first dress makes her look like the bride at the top of her own 2 tiered wedding cake. Nanna looks like Roz in Monsters Inc.
No 2 looked great on the first bride
This is why I told my girls I’ll see the dress after they picked out the one they loved. I would help with accessories and a veil if asked. It’s her wedding and not mine.
How much work did it take to get the right music to play for this appointment? It's S rank!
All three of the bride's picks were tacky, hot messes. They looked like someone glued a bunch of tissue paper together and then got busy with hedge clippers.
I love when they say 10,000 budget those my type of brides.
Lindsay looked lovely
Her grandma looks like that one lady in monsters inc 😭
Personally I liked any of the other dresses better than that thing she picked, but to each their own.
1st bride dress looks messy with less than 10K budget.
2nd bride- luv the choice
06:55 EW! JUST EW! That dress looks like the designer had no idea what they wanted so they did it all.
If a bride wants to look princessy, Lazaro is it. In 2017-18 ish he brought out the Disney princess bridal dresses.
The bride are so young.
Pls remind Nana that bride doesn't want to look like a 70 yo frumpy grandma.
All these brides bring people with them who care nothing about what the bride wants
to be on the show you have to submit a description of the people you know and the producers pick who comes. They ant a story more than anything. They will also use prompting and editing to create bad situations that don't exist.
I hated Nana’s pick. The first one was really pretty.
Sorry but her pick is the worst dress she tried
Nana was a hater

I loved the first dress the best of all, but the bride is so pretty with such a perfect figure that all four of them looked lovely on her.
Yes indeed, but unfortunately she chose the worst color and style for her.
Dress 4 does look dirty.
Love Monte Ray
Arial and ursula in real life
Not a fan of #4 at all. But she didn’t ask me! 😉 As long as she’s happy.
When the first bride wanted to look like a Disney princess with a modern, funky twist I was sure she was going to say she wanted the old cliche of short but poofy dress to wear with cowboy boots.
Uhm…oh boy … Disney hasn’t done some women any favours
Dress #1 … meh
#2 is a little better
#3 - oh dear no….
Dress #4 - oh dear god no! The dress is wearing her, not the other way round
Bride #2 - let’s goooooo!
1st bride is giving Rory Gilmore
Great family! Even if they didn’t like a dress, they made it their opinion and NOT telling the bride what to do. The brides pick, while lovely and so NOT Oklahoma, looked really heavy to me for dancing!
Why are these girls getting married at 22 & 23 years old?
Go out and live!
The dresses look so grey and often the bodice doesn’t match the skirt in colour. The styles seem very dated and
I find Monty very irritating and childish- but it’s all pretty contrived being a ‘show’ and has to have the drama in order to make it more interesting!
I bet Monty doesn't act like that in real appointments if he is still in the industry. This is just acting.
#4 looks dirty
Budget ≠ taste
Dress 3 is "a lot of dress" compared to the ....she picked? Really? #4 is so not princess....and it looks aweful.
I don’t like Monte’s pick the first dress was beautiful
Is is just me or does this dress look dirty?
Could have used any of those dresses to mop floors after the wedding. Except grandma’s pick. I didn’t like that one either. These episodes are so fake.

BRAVO ❗PREACH❗
@@Africa-ky1bg LOL!! 😂
both final choices were horrendous
Grandma looks like Roz from monsters inc haha
Nothing wrong with being from Oklahoma!!!! We are Oklahoma strong ❤
Corrsett dresses look like underwear.
How long will this princess last when she has to wash a floor or toilet?
If she can spend 10K on a dress, probably never! (Maid service!)
❗❗❗
Hearing the word “princess” over and over is nauseating. Time to grow up
Don't like the dress she picked. The bottom looks cheap or something. Can't think of the right word.
I think the Grandma looks like Roz from Monster's Inc.
That grandmother looks like the evil stepmother from Cinderella or something.
The first dress was absolutely stunning! The fourth dress was one of the ugliest dresses i have ever seen! It lookes like it went through a shredder
