Does this privacy inhibit the ability to create an account online from a site/service which may require the process of identification/location in order to use their site? For instance, Amazon...would TOR provide an effective route to overcome a buyer/seller account unfairly closed or banned by Amazon whereby they link all accounts/email addresses by IP address?
If you really think this way you will never find a way to break free from the system, in the end too much pain will destroy every man ... we live in a "violent" system already, sometimes I think we tend to forget that there are alternatives to violence, suffering, destroying and being destroyed ... but whatever ...
Anonymous uploaded a video about that there was an exploit in javacript on tor. and that there was a malware installed onto your computer. they recommended to change your password.
tor is a great thing done for internet users all around the world. and like all the good things in life - it is free. tor should merge with firefox mozilla for the greater good. tor protect my privacy -it gives me freedom ! thank you
It would be illegal. But I wouldn't put it past the NSA who obviously don't give a single fuck about upholding the law that they state they are trying to protect by gathering this information **illegally** in the first place... FuckTheNSA
Don't change your password, let them script kiddies/sock puppet/hack slash and epically own your pc, no hardcore firewall/detection software ect this way you can seek a legal and constitutional remedy in the form of politely asking what they are doing, no need to go over the top.
I like TOR, but I don´t think I agree fully, people only learn the hard way - NO - I don´t think that´s true, there are better & more constructive ways to learn ... that don´t hurt, it doesn´t always have to hurt, does it? Fuck ... pain. To hell with it.
How? Facism is traditionally a more right wing idealogy and leftist police states are few and far between. We have learnt from out mistakes and while most nations are drifting left we are moving towards more capitalist-socialist systems like that of scandinavian societies. While there might be a threat of leftist dictatorships it isnt nearly as big as it used to be. Communism and leftist police states is almost dead and the biggest threat to privacy is in all countries.
About Greece you should know the things are way more complex than you mentioned. In the other hand ofc we salute internet freedom as it seems to be the only future freedom we are going to have.Though great minds should not only care about evolution.Evolution in whatever form must be alligned to ethics and laws.Sure you dont have time or authority to care about the content but some of this content overpasses law, ethics even fucking human imagination.Again not a hater
I mean, it´s kind of critical to argue this way ... people only learn the hard way, every fascist would sign that, sorry, I don´t agree ... but actually that doesn´t make your work less meritorious.
I appreciate Tor,but JA has some real issues with his world view.He is a anarchist when you get down to it.While i am neither LEFT or RIGHT i am FREE from the bonds both side imposes on its followers-therefore i am hated by both and FREE
I appreciate what you have done with tor and privacy, and I am praying for you.
Jacob Appelbaum is a human being who likes privacy. No one person steers the Tor Project, but he does have a lot of influence on it.
Where does he get all his cool shirts and jackets?
Amen, Nice comment!
a hero

I want to install Orbot: Proxy with Tor for my Android phone. Is there a lot more I should know about or learn before I can start using it?
Can a VPN and TOR be used at the same time?

use Freenet instead, parts of Tor is run by the NSA as a Honeypot.
no javascript and no flash so you are limited to the sites you go to.
I could use help with software to accommodate online voting. "One Citizen One Vote" vote online eliminating the need for corruptible politicians.
What if it's an NSA trap?

Needs a new last name.
What TOR is used for: Buying drugs, Viewing/buying child pornography, hacking related websites.
Uh.. Read a book. But for starters look at a political axis graph, you are being ridiculously ignorant.
