    Really inspired by these videos. I almost gave into the notion that I need a 35i to have fun. I'm hyped to see you guys working on the n20 platform so extensively.

    Super cool build, but what about the HPFP bottle neck... Have you found a way around that? Port injection? A retrofit perhaps?

    • @NavardiTuned
      @NavardiTuned  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes mate, Harry (also known as Navardi on the forums) has developed a Port Injection bracket/setup and we're trialling the JB4 PI controller on it, once testing is complete we look at selling it as a setup. Even on the stock turbo the HPFP struggles with more than e40 on 22psi. 93 (98RON can run 24psi on a stage 2 turbo, it seems the limit for 93/98 RON is around 30psi from some brief testing however that boost is too high for the fuel on a stage 2 turbo setup).

      Aussie BMW N20 Boys fantastic, I blew up my motor already... and all I really want is 350/400 hp outta this thing, I really dont think I’m asking for much lmao damn HPFP wont let me be great. Look forward to seeing this through with you gents.

    Hey @NavardiTuned, I am building my N20 engine and wanted to see what exact ARP bolts you upgraded to? You mentioned they are from a Mitsubishi, do you have a year/model or the ARP part number? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

    Do I have to upgrade stock internals to get upgraded turbo? So Basically how much power can the N20 make before crazy upgrades?

    • @NavardiTuned
      @NavardiTuned  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Theoretically 420WHP is the max the stock internals can take, which the N55 turbo could very easily make. However current bolt on turbos for the N20 depending on fuel you're looking at 330-380whp. So really currently there is no turbo that is bolt on that can max out the stock N20 internals. Really it comes down to making sure the tune has boost in the right spot on the RPM Band.

    It looks like a strong engine, excluding the open deck head design.
    Would these handle 800+ hp?

      please refer to our latest videos on the built N20, these are dated and as discovered not able to stand up to mild power requests

  • @joshallen940
    @joshallen940 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How much power were you making on to feel the need to build it looking to stay under that number on my n20 but I can’t find a good answer

    • @NavardiTuned
      @NavardiTuned  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      420 WHP based on a dynojet is the theoretical max HP the stock block can make before you break stuff, however there is no off the shelf dyno that can make that power. So really a stage 2 turbo will produce about 380WHP max on the N20 on full E85. at that power level and the right tune, the N20 is reliable. That's the simplified answer

    My big question is how much would this all cost and how long has it taken you guys ?! I’ve been waiting for something like this to be done

    • @NavardiTuned
      @NavardiTuned  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So My Build (Harry) cost $30K AUD but my build far outweighs Kens (this video is Kens rebuild) Ken spent around $15K AUD, Kens build thanks to me took 1.5 months to complete, where as my build is 3 years in the making and in and out of the car however i am also doing alot of R&D and testing on my build hence the long build time. Andy's build (he's yet to make a video) has been 6 months so far and still isn't close to finishing but his biggest delay has been the global pandemic and its affects on shipping.

      Aussie BMW N20 Boys wow that is very impressive !!!! So glad someone is doing this and I really would love to do something along these lines but I can’t find anyone in ny to even attempt this

      Aussie BMW N20 Boys also is the 15k with parts and labor or just labor?

    • @NavardiTuned
      @NavardiTuned  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Jakejacobsonn thats a shame, unless you want to ship your engine to VAC or ABR Houston i know they're able to build the engine in the USA.
      Pricing includes parts and labour btw.

      Aussie BMW N20 Boys I would love too I’ll ah e to give them a call soon! Can’t wait to see these number you guys get, also I would definitely recommend Cary with bm3 for the tune he has me running full e85 stock fuel system making about 300-320whp
