This video is slightly rushed. Especially when in goes on to plugging in the cables. It would be nice if it were much more specific, but i'm really stuck researching if I actually plugged in the right cords into the right pins.
Also noticed this is a video for the old pin connector system which is weird because it's the same connection as previous series when they could have covered the QXT version which uses USB-C
I have an almost identical set-up to this and let me tell you, the pc still gets hot af. Even with all this, it still gets really hot. It's so hot i have to turn my ac unit on to cool down the room and me. Since i recently got a new build, it's the first time i have a "modern pc" as my last one was made in 2013. Back then pc's didn't get as hot as they do now and i'm lead to believe these temps and this heat is "normal".
Its normal that your room gets hot. It's not normal if your cpu temps are above 70°C. That means you either have insufficient loquid coolant or that you badly applied thermal paste
You did something wrong with your cooling system, what's your pressure differential (positive = more intake than exhaust, neutral = even intake and exhaust, Negative = more exhaust than intake) negative pressure cooling systems tend to get slightly hotter than positive or neutral pressure systems because they just vent hot air faster than the PC can get cool air in which doesn't actually help cool anything down, neutral or slightly positive pressure is usually recommended as your getting cold air in faster than you can vent hot air which surprisingly brings the overall ambient temp down in the case, and PC components heat at a 1-1 ratio to the air so if your CPU starts at 60 C and the air of 40 C. A 41 C @ambient temp directly equals a 61 C CPU temp.
Yeah im having issues as well. All my RGB lighting is on, but only 1 fan is spinning. Surprisingly, its keeping my cpu under 70 degrees still, but its stupid loud
@jeffturgoose2310 if they aren't labeled, just fiddle with them. Make sure you can access the cables, and be able to turn your PC off and on easily. It took me like 2 attempts to figure it out.
Literally EVERY SINGLE video I find talks about the ARGB splitter as though they're clearly labelled 1, 2, 3. Dude, I have zero idea what number 1 is....
Mine is different, it doesn't come with a data cable, my previous one comes with a built-in SATA power cable. I'm looking how to enable the RGB, I think I need a cable I don't have. Two of the motherboard cables are the same, I didn't know which plugged in where.
I need help. The thumb screws won't fit into the mounting screws for my AM4 motherboard for some reason. Does Corsair sell some longer mounting screws I can use to overcome this? As this is really annoying. It's a Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX motherboard.
I think so but literally scrolling the comments looking for this very answer. From everything I know about thermal paste, I would say yes and it can't possibly do any harm.
I would redo your thermal paste maybe. I have the corsair icue h100i capellix xt with two 240mm fans cooling a AMD Ryzen 7 5800x. My CPU is 36C to 40C.. 58C seems really high

Hi. I have a question because I have a problem about my motherboard : I have an Gigabyte B450m DS3H, but I have only one « Sys_Fan » port. Can someone have a tips or help me to plug my new Corsair H100x cooler please? Thanks! 🙏🏻
im looking at buying one myself so i havent installed but if i remember correctly, you should have a specific CPU fan port. you should have 2 actually, atleast my mobo strix does.
Please for the love of god have better fan connection instructions, its the worst part of the h100x by far, nothing is labeled on the ends, a little AIO and FAN at the ends would go a long way
My fans are on and the liquid cooling is working but I cant get my RGB lights to turn on. I've tried a handful of different things to fix it but nothing has worked. I filed a ticket, apparently there is a problem with the RGB lights not working on certain motherboards and if you contact customer support they will send you a cable that will resolve the issue. Still haven't received an email back yet on the issue, I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as me?
Same happens here but i cant control the RGB lighting effects, i want different colors but its just a standard RGB effect, at the beginning it didnt used to turn on when i first installed but somehow, when i tried to plug it in another "raimbow" connector it turnet in and then when i plugged it to the other one i wanted again it just worked, but no control of the lights

well the setup he has just won't go lower temps . If the Radiator was in the front of the inside of the case having the fans blow directly on to the radiator while pulling ambient air from the outside of the front of the case will have lower temps . So the set up would be as I stated 1st front panel of PC then Fans blowing toward the radiator and radiator behind the fans for low temps . The way he has it set up in the video he is only just exhausting heat , and world of science heat loves to rise so all the cpu and video card heat will just keep the radiator warm . I just recently bought this AIO and it works fine if installed correctly my temps on idle are 27c but on a full load from benchmark testing along with gaming my cpu only reaches 40c - 44c . But I also have my radiator flow around 40% pushing the liquid flow constantly circulating the heat into the radiator . I also have my exhaust fan and top fans at lower rpms than my front fans that way you get better air flow through your system .
