Sacrificing his friends and preying on Dani's weakness to get her to break things off with Christian were pretty awful, but keep in mind that Pelle was/is considered the hero to this story to the people of his village,, he even said so in another interview, but Americans view him as the villain. His purpose to what he did was never intended to be crucially evil or for his pleasure. This was the community's way of healing themselves and especially Dani who they all believed to be destined to be there. I'm not trying to justify murder but he truly believed that what he did was good and the best for Dani (which in a twisted and sinister way, is true).

I never look at Will Poulter and think "English gentleman." That's just good casting at work lol
The audio on this is atrocious. I can hardly hear what the cast members are saying.

With all due respect to the talented Mr. Poulter, his character was a dick but he did NOT deserve what happened to him. Nobody deserves that.

Honestly it would be fantastic dream come true if i got a chance to work with Will Poulter in a romantic action movie that takes place around Christmas in Kansas Missouri plus he can give me some acting advice while were having lunch together behind the scenes also my friends and family would be very surprised by this film. Jesus christ, why is everyone being a psycho lately? Those characters did NOT get what was coming to them! Being kind of a dick is not something that should be rewarded with... well, THAT. You know what I mean.
In a lot of films people cheer for the assholes to get murdered.
I think that was kinda of the intention of the film and it worked for some people which is very impressive.

Cause Pelle is probably one of the scariest villains I've seen in a horror movie especially a contemporary horror movie in a long time. He's not scary in the traditional sense. He's scary in how un-scary he is, if that makes sense. We're led to think he's the sensitive and caring one, when in reality he couldn't care less about his "friends". The only one I think he genuinely cared for is Dani, who he was planning on stealing from Christian I believe the ENTIRE time.
