Yea cos it covers top and bottom of string.
Fret wraps more to stop overtones when tapping.
Tape stops the noise of heavy playing equivelant to picking the strings above the nut.

I know you probably won't check but check out João Medeiros - Blood Eagle, he covered all instruments and he did all the tabs in less than a few hours since your single came, and above all, the mix and master is insane! The kid has talent that's for sure. It's really worth a try. Keep shredding and inspiring us all you dirty little bastard 😜
