A larger world to explore, big as the lands were in the original, they were all segmented and seperate from each other. A seamless world map would be amazing. Barring that, maybe if they incorporate some of the cut ideas they had in mind for the original but couldnt implement for time or hardware limitations.
Okami was one of the games that had me just completely captivated, I remember going to GameStop and seeing okami on the shelf, and just being curious about and thinking it looked interesting, when I brought it home and started playing it I was in complete awe at how beautiful it was, the music and the gameplay and the characters had completely hooked, seeing okami and onimusha return it’s seeing a really good old friend after a long time I am so happy
I just want the sequel to have the same beauty and heart as the original. Any improvements they make will just make me happier. That said, imagine the possibilities now that they are no longer limited by PS2 hardware. This might end up being the most beautiful game of all time!
Between Okami sequel and the new Onimusha reveal, capcom are going way way back to their roots and I’m so glad that it seems like ever since Resident Evil 7 and the birth of the RE engine they have never been better to be on such a streak for these banger after banger games.
To think after 18 years Okami has return for a sequel there’s so many I wish to see like returning old characters meeting new people fighting dangerous Demons along with the beautiful soundtrack which is spot on and of course new weapons combat strategies brush powers and Easter eggs. But in all honesty what I like to see is the story because the first game was outstanding without a doubt they should keep the same style with new details such as how much Amaterasu’s character development has improved like is she smarter faster stronger more powerful now that she’s recovered all 13 brush techniques and will we see returning face beside Issun like Waka Oki Sakuya and how about Ninetails cause out of all the bosses that was my favorite along with the theme. Plus I already finish the original 100 completion finding those Stray Beads were not easy but worth it and I’m hoping to see The Sun Goddess return in all her glory!
Same here but it only took me two days to find the stray beads before fighting the final boss than I played it again for the trophy collection catching fish feeding animals finishing side quests the usual.
Look can we all just collectively think maybe MAYBE CAPCOM IS GETTING IT'S SECOND VIEWTIFUL ERA? Clover was responsible for Godhand, Viewtiful Joe and Okami. We back in here
I played when it was first released back in 06. And it's been one of my top 3 games ever since. Okami is actually the reason I got into Zelda. Finished Okami, and wanted another similar game. Twilight Princess was my first Zelda game, and now I'm obsessed. 2 of my top 3 both came out in 2006 😂 So many happy tears this morning. And replaying the OG again
I got Okami when it was available on the Switch. It captivated me from the word Go. Finished it and tried Okamiden, though I am still not past the first boss there. After this announcement, I started a new Okami playthrough. I am hoping they will take the time to make the sequel the best it can be.
@@Tastymond I read criticism that 90% of the brush techniques were circles, which didn't seem far off. But other than that, I loved it. I sat on the save spots for minutes, because of the music. I really, really need to replay it!
I remember my first encounter with this game. I swe a demo for it at a super market. The look of the game blew me away, and you could play as a wolf, I love wolves.
@@Tastymond i really hope that they keep the painterly look of the original. The original game was supposed to look realistic, but the limitations of the PS2 prevented that. Modern consoles will be able to do it, but the esthetics of the final release is iconic and I'd like to see that it be retained, but in HD.
Tell me what you want from an Okami sequel.
More of the same!! I played Okamiden on the DS actually.
@@yvonnelob7551 Sick, I missed that one so might get round to it.
@@Tastymond It was really good, I should also play the original!

@@cresenciogrant5107 Surely the world will be huge bro yeah, I honestly cant wait for the game but heard it's just started being made now.
There is no game in this world that deserves a sequel more than Okami. I bawled my eyes out with joy during the reveal. This is truly amazing!
I'm there with you, anything you want to see from this game let me know.

Yeah I will for sure check it out before this new one comes out.
I think at least 3, maybe 4, more Orochi fights should make the sequel better, for sure
Lol yes, wonder how big the world will be dude.
Oh wow, didn't know about Okamiden on the DS.
Yeah I missed it.
I really wanted to get in to the first game. Now, maybe I really should soon! (And Onimusha) Yeah, this is a giant Capcom W!
Could not be happier myself here Grae, you should try it now for sure.
Another two vid one day special, i can do another 🤣i did play the wii version of okami 1 btw tasty
