Think you are going to cost me money again. I use Purdy 9 + 12 inch frames and extension poles. I do have problems removing the sleeves so I dab a touch of Vaseline inside. I do also use Johnstones own brand but they aren’t s good as Purdy. Now ‘sheepskin’, I’d forgotten all about these thinking they don’t exist any more. Still got plenty to do at our new home so will give the Hamilton a try after Christmas. Thank you and to the other pro’s - I’m never too old to learn. Regards Mike
@@m0aze611 hey mate. Also try the Wooster Cirrus X. I've used a 1 inch nap in a 9 inch sleeve. MyPaintbrush sell them as I'm using it at the moment and find it a dream to work with. I think I even prefer it to a sheepskin
Hi Daniel. Trust all is good. Like your video. I agree with your comment about microfibre sleeves not holding much paint,m constantly dipping. However the Wooster blue stripe are an exception. I like them a lot. They last a good while also. No spray, clean well and great finish. Good content mate.
I use an 18" Cirrus X for my lids , great sleeves but i wouldn't mind trying a sheepskin to compare as i haven't used one for over 20 years , the only thing is i don't think they go bigger than 12" , not really big enough really.
Great video Daniel I've seen these before are they better than picasso sleeves? The frames are so hard to get but I see another firm called maverick is selling the same kind of frame with headlock technology just came out on Amazon maybe you'll do a video for them. Thanks
Do you still use any of the Arroworthy sleeves, Dan? Been using their 14 inch sleeves with AR2 recently, and it never seems to lay off enough paint and cover. Always leaves a nice finish but doesn't seem to cover. I used an old Hamilton 9inch on another ceiling with AR2 and it covered no problem. Might have to try the Wooster 14 inch sleeves.
@@deepzepp4176 I use a sheepskin roller for ceilings as it holds so much paint with minimal spray. They are £14 a sleeve and it was a Hamilton. I also use a Cirrus X by Wooster in a 6.5 for small areas

@@danielnugentpainteranddeco557 these Wooster ones you recommend are Extra Rough is that correct?
@m0aze611 yes it's great for ceilings only not walls as you can lay it off. It holds so much paint and makes life that bit asier when doing ceilings

Have you tried the rota gold roller sleeve?
@@stefmarr no not yet mate.
Is it worth a try

I'm a decorator by trade, only tried them last week. Well worth a try imo. I think you'd be surprised!!
You never used a sheepskin before Daniel there've only been about for the last 70-80 years
Syphilis has been around for over 2000 years, and I’ve never got that either….Whats your point?
@@jackwardley3626 I know
