This is the final episode of this season. Honestly, finishing releasing everything felt impossible at times, but here we are. We all know social media is full of 'perfect' lives, but real life isn’t like that. Life is messy, confusing, and full of challenges. By opening up my life, I hope I’ve shown that it’s okay not to have everything figured out and to grow as we go. If my journey has helped you see your own life in a new light, then I feel like I’ve done what I set out to do. When I started living in my car, I never imagined it would teach me so much. These last six months have pushed me to grow faster than I ever thought possible. This has been the craziest, but also the most romantic thing I’ve ever done for myself. Watching my life unfold like another person’s story, seeing it from a different perspective while editing-it gave me so much clarity about who I am and what I want for my life.. For anyone who doesn’t quite get why I’m doing this, keep watching. I think there is no real hate in the universe, just misunderstandings and missing pieces of the story. So thank you to everyone who’s supported me, and even to those who didn’t quite understand. Without all of you, I wouldn’t have grown into the person I am now. So, goodbye , for now…
Hi, as a Bay Area native, I found it very helpful to watch your life and see each part of the episodes unfold. It was very motivating to see you push past your challenges and still live your life. Please continue to make videos after this, I would still watch, I am a subscriber since for a good while but it was so interesting to watch the days go by and see an update on your life. Thank you for pushing past your struggles and showing us it is possible to live your life and still show out for yourself. You have my respect 👍
Hi Hannah: Enjoyed seeing the journey, you are so brave! Your hard work, adventurous spirit and willingness to share is amazing! I cannot wait to see what is next. Please take care of yourself.
Under our apostle Paul’s ministry, to be SAVED, you must BELIEVE/TRUST The Gospel of Jesus Christ,1 st Corinthians Chapter 15 verses 1-4.Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day.Jesus Christ’s Shed Blood is what saves you when you Believe this plan of salvation with your heart.Romans 3:25” Faith in His Blood”.
honestly I understand why you did it! We live in a world that glamorizes superficial lives (as long as things look good from the outside, its ok!), over consumerism, liviing and spending situations that emphasize excess and luxury. My blood family all choose to live in HUGE houses (that I believe is beyond their means), and I grew up only in huge houses, but I'm okay with living in my smalll junior one bedroom apartment that I rented from my budget first out of college..... although I am now 6 years post grad and making significantly more than when I first started out after graduating college, I am still living here. its perfect for my size. I don't need anyone to understand me (or my actions). After watching this last season, I looked around my apartment in wonder - I have a locked door, walls, windows. Its wonderful and I feel a deep moment of gratitude. Homes are supposed to keep you safe and protect you from the elements. my home does that. Regardless of the size and whether people would consider it "luxury" or not
I came across your video at a time when I felt stuck and unsure of the way forward. Your insights inspired me to approach my journey differently. Rather than strictly following my usual plans, I took a risk and explored new paths. Life rarely unfolds as we expect, but having the courage to continue is what matters most. I admire how you embarked on a new life, taking risks along the way. I graduated five years ago, and during that time, I struggled with direction and purpose. My mind was clouded with too many thoughts. I had initially planned to move to Houston alone, with the comfort of knowing I could return to my parents if things didn’t work out. However, they unexpectedly decided to move with me-a decision I didn’t fully agree with, but one I had to accept. Though I secured a great job, I found myself under constant stress, balancing my responsibilities to my parents while trying to carve out my own life. Watching your video made me realize that instead of constantly planning, I needed to embrace the present and appreciate what I have. I love my parents deeply, and I cherish the time we spend together, especially sharing meals at the dinner table. I was in New York last April, and while I found it a great place to explore, but the cost of living is quite high. I hope you’re in a great place on your current journey and that you stay safe and healthy. Wishing you all the best! Please make more videos. ❤ and if you ever think about Houston. I can tell you all about it as a 3 years experience 😊
Hannah, while I don't understand why you lived in your car, or drove around to so many cities in the west coast, I do understand why someone would want to find a place where they would feel at home and a sense of belonging. I hope someday you find that place. Good luck.
This is dope love the video it’s crazy how we abandon our homeless population a lot of these people have been through unimaginable trauma in their lives and we need more sympathy.
It appears that you’re inspiring many, including myself and I’m much, much older than you are. It’s the first time viewing your channel. Be safe going forward on your new journey.
Hi Hannah, I am also an engineer in big tech, I lived in six different states after my graduation until I finally settled in CA and I understand you well. There were times I didn't know if a move was the right decision or not, but in hindsight they all turned out great and braught me where I am today. I hope you also find the place you can call home soon. You are brave and I really liked watching your videos and seeing you grow. Good luck, looking forward to the next season, a happy one, fingers crossed.
Seattle here, its a pretty good place to settle down especially as a techy. Lots of job opportunities here. Dog friendly city, not that cold. Easy to make friends here too. Also no state income tax.
Hannah, I know I'm no one to talk about how to go through life but, I figured I'd share a few things on how I perceive life and go about it. Life is a mirror and not a window. Life is about enjoying the things you enjoy doing. Don't look through the "window" and compare yourself to others or let social media tell you what is acceptable; whether it be love, housing, or popularity. Instead, look at yourself in that mirror and ask yourself, are you capable, are you creating actions you won't look back and regret, are you pushing forward to the max? The world isn't as it is, it's as YOU are. If you keep moving and not letting life happen, nothing will ever come. I live in Sunnyvale, CA , I know how tough it can be to live in Silicon Valley but you can make it. I respect you for testing yourself and conquering your doubts. Keep pushing forward! I follow you and believe in you!
While it is true, it is not easy. YOUR editing made it seem semi-easy. (NOT a bad thing). I kept thinking (none of my business) HOW much did you get for the car and to start your new life? HOW are you able to take Halo everywhere. It seems that even though it is very painful and hard at times, thank goodness for small eases in life. Keeping Halo. Starting new. Miss Hannah! Many blessings and great fortune!
Next season... New York wow whaddya mean I gotta take the yucky subway everywhere? Geeze the rats are big here! Time to go to Toronto. Wow hey I'm back in Canada again no way I can find meaning in Canada plus my Tesla batteries can't take the cold, maybe the meaning of my life can be found in Florida? Let's go Halo! Halo runs away finally saving himself.
It is inspiring, you keep choosing big cities to explore. I think not all ppl can decide things like you do eventhough they want to because of lacking of financial resource. At least you still have a home in Vancouver and a list of another good things. You are blessed. Your life will just be fine. I am sure you already have a good amount of saving. You may face new challenges but looks like it will be another exciting fun episode.😆 Nowadays everything takes money, even when we want to pratice slow life in rural areas like buying a beautiful cottage..decoration.. etc etc it really takes a big sum of money. Shifting from city life to rural slow life does cost a lot too. Everything takes money. It is very important to have a safe amount of saving.

Living in your car for 6months will not find u happyness😅. Your dog needs more room to play, sleep, somewhere safer. Selling ur tesla to move to new york is a start of a new chapter in life. Its ok if u dont knoe where to settle permanentely yet. Enjoy what u have, freedom of choosing what u enjoy doing most. Having time to focus on yourself is very important. ‘Chuc em moi dieu tot dep’🌷
I left the SF Bay Area after 30+ years and moved to Honolulu 5 years ago. Best decision of my life. Something to consider if you can afford it and if MS allows it.
I live in Boston, but the culture is completely different and wild, in a good way in the Eastcoast. Very much easier to find friends and to fit in with people! Make sure to buy a warm coat/jacket since Winter is coming. Goodluck!
Your channel I'll be missed. P.s. how are you ? Thanks for being such a humble person throughout your experience. If you ever make it back to California? Please visit Idylwild, California. It's beautiful up here in the mountains and your presence would only add to that beauty !!! Stay humble
I am glad that you shared your journey with us. I know you can keep going. 🙏🏼 You sold your car! 👍🏼 you can always get a new one when the time comes. Safe journey to your next plans. You got this! You and Halo stay strong and healthy. 👍🏼☺️
So sad that some people are always searching. I've been very fortunate that I've never felt lost. I hope you find what you're looking for, providing you even know what it is you are looking for.
Couldn't agree more with "Life is messy, confusing, and full of challenges..." However, by using the quote from movie Forest Gump, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get!" Hannah ur the best, your vlogs are amazing and releastic! 加油!一切都会更好!
Ni Hao Hannah! I watched all your videos because I was quite intrigued with your experiment living in your Tesla. I’m sure you had learned a lot through this journey. I truly believe that you did not feel belong at any city due to the fact that your mind kept wanting to explore with the experiment! I really admire your bravery, your transparency, and your realness about your journey. Obviously, there are many people commented with both negatives and positives. It is still just there humble opinions. However, end of day, it is your life. You need to dig deep within your heart and soul to figure out what is the best for you and Halo. Don’t listen to all the noises but rather your inner voice. Or talk to a few trusted friends, family members, or a therapist would be nice. No matter where you go, if you don’t know what you want, you will constantly moving around feeling lost. I believe that the people that make you feel most loved & belonging are your long time friends & loving family because they love you unconditionally. I’m surprised you didn’t stay in Vancouver. Perhaps you have your reasons. There are many beautiful places in this world, you can always pack and travel anytime you like because you have the luxury to work remotely. You are very blessed with a great job and have the financial means to go anywhere you like. Embrace your blessings, Hannah. Wherever you decided to live, I hope you would take time to develop new friendships. Real relationships take time to grow and blossom. Be adventurous but don’t run away from your problems, because your problems will always follow wherever you go! I wish nothing but the best for your next chapter. Looking forward to watch more videos of you and Halo! I don’t know you but I feel like I do know you like a little sister. ❤ Btw, I’m Chinese as well. :).
If you do have to buy a car again. Do watch TH-cam Steve Lehto: Rules to Live By When Car Buying. uploaded Jan 2023. He is a lawyer near Detroit Michigan. He took on "lemon" car cases for the last 30 plus years. He has been in Detroit MI when Detroit was the heart of the car business in the World. 10 minutes video. All the things you must know when buying a car in America.
I think you really should settle down in one place, probably in Vancouver, then you can explore other places, I guess that will give you a sense of belongings and have the excitement of visiting around
Hi, Love! You are so sweet! I look forward to watching your next video. I will be sending you my positive thoughts and wishes anywhere that you go. Whatever you do, wherever you go, always prioritize your safety, health, and your well-being/happiness! Everything else is manageable! Pops
Hannah! I am so proud and happy for you. You made it to the finale of season 1. There will be tons more of things to experience and to learn! God bless you Hannah and may you and Halo have an amazing journey to New York!
Im so glad im not the only one going through something like this. I remember when I used to live in Cali I was barely in my appartement. There was so so much to do. I was always out enjoying nature or going to amazing places. I miss Cali but was not long term maybe. I was there for almost two years. I don’t know where I belong either. Im currently in Austin Texas but I don’t like it lol. Too hot , humid , and hard to make friends. People very closed off here. I will move to another state in another two years. I have been thinking near NY too but not sure yet. I have liked living in different cities so far. I just want to find the place for me.
I grew up in Vancouver and moved to SoCal 6 years ago, I still feel like Vancouver is home and I have a sense of belonging there, no matter how long I spend anywhere else
if you want a stress free life appreciate every little things you have and never compare yourself to others, every human being is suffering but in different situations, remember you don't need to be rich in this world, luxury lifestyle can destroy human life, yes we need money to live but we don't live for money. As long as you have food for that day, you have security and you have a good health you are the bless people living in this earth. I highly recommend this book, title : don't be sad author Dr aid alqarni This world created for a test not for eternal living, you can only just get the real life in hereafter not here. verily, with every difficulty, there is relief. Qur'an 94:5
Thank you for sharing this quite unique and interesting journey. I definitely enjoyed and learned a lot as well. It's nice to see that you grew a lot and got to know yourself better in the process. Good luck on your new journey 😃
I love your humanity. It's normal to struggle in Western society when you are someone that recognizes how broken it is. Normalization of homelessness, poverty, suffering and much worse things is horrible, and when people like yourself and myself understand how horrible these things are, it really is hard to just "enjoy life". Don't feel like you are abnormal to think this way, it is actually the opposite. You are the normal one, and the ones that are able to ignore the suffering of others are the abnormal ones. Hope you are content wherever you are. = )
Man you are tough and resilient living and surviving out there on your own. Halo cute as a button he may be, doesn't count :) Fast track "life experience" and skills. One day I am sure you will look back on this and agree. As an IT data worker, I reckon you will be fine, you will have benefitted from your Silicon Valley experience. There will always be need for IT professionals. Just keep up with the learning. Thanks for sharing your journey and good luck with New York. I will share the resilience from stories like yours with my kids someday.
"For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.." Romans 8:20
I don't think you know what you want out of life. Sit down and write a plan. Don't have to be perfect with a plan. You will realize how imperfect the plan is to act out. You can't have everything. You can only have what could really makes you happy. Is your plan to have friends? You need to figure out your wants first. You make decisions like nothing matters. You wake up and decide oh...maybe New York. Maybe sell my car. Maybe I can find friends in New York. I think you should have a schedule so you can have the day that you want. That's the plan.
It's possible she has ADHD. I know people who have ADHD but, when they have specific interests, they excel at what they do professionally. She's a software engineer who can't focus on other things. That's the M.O. of someone with ADHD.
Thank you so much for your vlog. I have enjoyed it so much. I moved many times in CA then moved to New Zealand and now back in CA. You have given comfort to me that yes it is ok to not be certain about the destination but look forward to the journey. I definitely can relate with you every step along the way. I have also learned a lot about other people and myself. I look forward to your next vlog series. Best of luck!
Hi Hannah, you're amazing and thank you for being so brave to tell your story.. Will miss your updates! Please come to Sydney, Australia Hannah! you will love it here.. :)
You have so much courage , plz don't stop recording or at least let us know that you're sure that you made the right decision and you're happy . If I had your courage and strength my life would have been alot different. God bless , take care . I wish nothing but the best for you 😊
Highly educated. Decent looks. Has a nice soul. Female. Critically introverted. Has 0 friends, or has trouble making them. Prefers to be alone. You are going to hate New York City because almost everyone there is really a closet introvert in real life. Your dog will be a hassle there. You need to find a man in a smaller town, preferably in the Midwest where people are more your speed and personality. Omaha, Des Moines, Albuquerque... towns/cities like that seem suited for you vs LA, SF and NYC.
(From A software engineer from Bay Area, California) Thank you for sharing your story. I watched all of your videos. Good luck with the next stage in your life.
Hannah I completely understand you. I believe every year that passes by we think differently and want different things in life. It’s important to feel at home, it’s a journey and I’m excited for you. At the same time you are exploring and learning about yourself. I wish you the best and I hope you find a place where you genuinely feel happy. Best of luck. I believe you are already changing the world.
Hannah, can you tell me the name of the song that played at the end of your video? I really liked it and would love to listen to the whole thing, pls 😊
Wish you the best on this new episode of your life, Hannah, you've went and carried a lot during this entire season but in every single video you showed up the many type of challenges life can bring up to, still you take the risk and went through all of them although the ups and downs that could mean. Besides of that, you really inspire me and so does your whole journey, hope we all can stick with you on a new journey on NY! lots of hugs to you and Halo 🤗❤🩹
10 yrs. ago I visited VNC often so the city looked very familiar. Coal Harbor is still beautiful. Were you showing E. Hastings? Surprised at the street people. Looking forward to your next season. Thank you for the video.
Your stories are interesting & real, however, it seems like there is some sadness in most of your video clips. You are so young, there will be a good future for you if you look at a better side. Have you ever checked with a doctor to see if you are depressed? A low level of serotonin which causes depression can easily treated with medication & counseling.
You are so brave!!! I'm so proud of you for taking those risks and getting into the next stage of your life, Hannah and Halo! Cheering you on from Canada :)
Vancouver, BC, Canada 🇨🇦 seems much more better than the American 🇺🇸 cities you are traveling to. Hannah did you have some kind of life epiphany or radical life change such as the death of a loved one?
Why are you selling your car if you do not know which city you will be in? This is America! unless you live in NY, you will need a car. especially with your beautiful dog. Have you done HW on how to sell your car to get the best price? Now is not the time to buy a new car. end of 2525 will be a good time. My two cents
Hannah, thank you for sharing part of your life and your insights. I am inspired by your vulnerability, honesty and courage. Sending you and your lovely, loyal dog, Halo - every good wish and blessing!
I love this series. You took life into your own hands and it took you into a direction. I also learned how there were some people commenting on your videos would jump straight to giving you advice or judgment. It was very brave of you to share your documented experience. Thank you ❤

Wow insane 7 month story!
craziest 7 months of my life
Please keep making more videos of your journey. I also cannot bear not seeing Halo on a regular basis lol.
I often hear feedback, NYC does not end up being how people think.
Thank you, Hannah! I've learned so much from watching your life unfold. Best wishes!

So sad that some people are always searching. I've been very fortunate that I've never felt lost. I hope you find what you're looking for, providing you even know what it is you are looking for.
your pity is hilarious
@Tiffany-uu2hq Not pity. Genuine sadness. It must be exhausting always searching for that elusive "something".
Couldn't agree more with "Life is messy, confusing, and full of challenges..." However, by using the quote from movie Forest Gump, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get!" Hannah ur the best, your vlogs are amazing and releastic! 加油!一切都会更好!
Enjoyed your journey! I'm a New Yorker. Love to grab a coffee sometime. Cheers.
Hannah, 加油👏🏻!在寻找自己的人生方向时,一定要保护好自己和Halo❤
Your closing comment brought me to tears. Hannah, you achieve more in a week than others in years. I am exited to see you again in NYC.
Maybe for content
Good luck in NYC. I think you belong there. Take care of Halo there.
Hi, Love! You are so sweet!
I look forward to watching your next video. I will be sending you my positive thoughts and wishes anywhere that you go.
Whatever you do, wherever you go, always prioritize your safety, health, and your well-being/happiness! Everything else is manageable!
Pops
Good luck to you! I am amazed Halo was allowed on the Bus, flixbus is very strictly against dogs here in Germany :-(
Congrats on your new journey in NYC! I'm a New Yorker here. Please keep posting videos I love to see Halo ❤
Why did you leave the bay? What was the reason for moving to new york?
Are you going to rent an apartment?
Please continue to share your journey, I enjoyed watching and getting to see your sweet dog as well. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
I'm so happy for you, congrats, keep going, you can do It!
It was amazing to follow your journey, ty Hannah!
Great to hear you speaking Chinese😊. I was worried you are not.
Hannah! I am so proud and happy for you. You made it to the finale of season 1. There will be tons more of things to experience and to learn! God bless you Hannah and may you and Halo have an amazing journey to New York!
Halo will hate NYC. Vancouver is beautiful. Go to Seattle
I just want to find the place for me.
nice that you can pick and choose wherever you want to live. but why ny?
I grew up in Vancouver and moved to SoCal 6 years ago, I still feel like Vancouver is home and I have a sense of belonging there, no matter how long I spend anywhere else
if you want a stress free life appreciate every little things you have and never compare yourself to others, every human being is suffering but in different situations, remember you don't need to be rich in this world, luxury lifestyle can destroy human life, yes we need money to live but we don't live for money. As long as you have food for that day, you have security and you have a good health you are the bless people living in this earth. I highly recommend this book, title : don't be sad author Dr aid alqarni
This world created for a test not for eternal living, you can only just get the real life in hereafter not here.
verily, with every difficulty, there is relief. Qur'an 94:5
Are you staying in Seattle? Or coming to New York? New York City is not a easy place. I love living in the city, but it can be hard and lonely.
Take care of yourself first before anyone else. Love yourself don't feel bad for the homeless. Life goes on...
Hannah, You are a wonderful person! All my best wishes!
I heard that Canada the country is in the deep sleep financially and everyone's struggling
Man you are tough and resilient living and surviving out there on your own. Halo cute as a button he may be, doesn't count :)
Fast track "life experience" and skills.
"For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.." Romans 8:20

Hannah, dont stop! Keep making videos pleaseeeeeee!! ❤❤❤
Being your friend would be exhausting. Life is as complicated as you make it.
Good luck in NYC! It's a tough but amazing city. No need for cars and super dog friendly.
The other comment from someone else is "where are you going or what are you looking for? "
Hi Hannah! I just want to encourage you ❤.
To be honest with you. I think I have been searching my whole life.
Hi Hannah, you're amazing and thank you for being so brave to tell your story.. Will miss your updates! Please come to Sydney, Australia Hannah! you will love it here.. :)
You’re very lovely Hannah
Hope to see you again with your journey! Love and blessings 🎉
Thank you for sharing your life experiences and perspectives with us. Please take care and enjoy New York.
(From A software engineer from Bay Area, California) Thank you for sharing your story. I watched all of your videos. Good luck with the next stage in your life.
Hi Guy, is tech industry moving out of Bay area ? Thanks
@@Blu-so8hc I don't think so.
What are you running away from?
I really wish you the best for next!! always love yourself and never give up.
Best wishes Hannah…you be safe in NYC…take good care! Looking forward to your next video
I’m rooting for you wherever you may end up, Hannah. You are brave…Stay safe and be well in NYC. Belly rubs for Halo! Xia Yu!!! 🤗👍
NYC! That's going to be exciting 👍
Does anyone know what used Tesla can sell for ? Thanks
Hertz is selling theirs from $20,000 two years old
Hannah, can you tell me the name of the song that played at the end of your video? I really liked it and would love to listen to the whole thing, pls 😊
“Soaring Higher” by K-pop singer Adelyn Paik
@@Damon_Mah thank you, listening to this song and reflecting on Hannah video really hit strong.
Take care! I hope you stay safe and enjoy your life in NYC!
Yeah that's East Hastings. It's been like that for many years
Definitely not in CALIFORNIA. Maybe Texas because all the IT companies are moving there.
Halo is so cute as always ❤ 17:30 the bgm is 💯
Seattle
希望你能找到屬於自己心💗裡的家, best wishes from LA audience.
Try Saigon for a few months…..🤔🤔🤔
I love this series. You took life into your own hands and it took you into a direction. I also learned how there were some people commenting on your videos would jump straight to giving you advice or judgment. It was very brave of you to share your documented experience. Thank you ❤
what we see is a mirror of ourselves
You have grown so much through your journey and learned so much. Keep going! ❤
God bless you.
My sister moved to NY & lived there for 5 years. She moved back to LA & bought her first house.
