Owning and flying a jet is a dream of mine. Making it a reality is a whole other ballgame; I would like to see it happen though.

Yes, 1:28 is what I was referring to, where the aircraft icon is pointed 180 degrees from actual direction of flight. Thanks for the info.

3 Million? Holy smokes, which normal person can afford that? No wonder aircraft factories are going down, they are pricing themselves out of the market. I am sure the plane is great, but that amount of money is just incredible.

@CessnaMustang1 That's actually a LOT less than I would have thought. I would have figured 5MM.

given Fuel burn to Top of climb, and FL chosen, it would be cutting it sort of close, but........given that it boasts 1100+ mile range, id say, Yes. maybe just use a "reduced" Cruise Fuel Flow Setting, which might equate to a slightly Slower Cruise True Airspeed. no Problem. amazing aircraft for sure.

Considering the depth and detail of Dave's endorsement Cessna should have just given him the plane.

Aircraft icon on moving map appeared to be pointed in opposite direction of flight. "If" I'm correct, wouldn't that be kind of wierd? The agricultural GPS industry has systems that keep the icon pointed in the direction of travel.

You should also calculate it in the time saved getting from A to B, and the amount of business generated in that extra time when you have got to B. Over a few years, the plane will have more or less payed for itself through the extra business revenue generated by the time saved meeting new customers.

No thanks, I'll buy a Mooney Acclaim and save my self $2.3 million initially, and god knows how much in maintenance & fuel. Plenty of speed and capability.
