3 Million? Holy smokes, which normal person can afford that? No wonder aircraft factories are going down, they are pricing themselves out of the market. I am sure the plane is great, but that amount of money is just incredible.
given Fuel burn to Top of climb, and FL chosen, it would be cutting it sort of close, but........given that it boasts 1100+ mile range, id say, Yes. maybe just use a "reduced" Cruise Fuel Flow Setting, which might equate to a slightly Slower Cruise True Airspeed. no Problem. amazing aircraft for sure.
Aircraft icon on moving map appeared to be pointed in opposite direction of flight. "If" I'm correct, wouldn't that be kind of wierd? The agricultural GPS industry has systems that keep the icon pointed in the direction of travel.
You should also calculate it in the time saved getting from A to B, and the amount of business generated in that extra time when you have got to B. Over a few years, the plane will have more or less payed for itself through the extra business revenue generated by the time saved meeting new customers.
If your Just a "Flight Simmer" like me, go search "Flight1" Computer Aircraft Simulations. >>Citation Mustang. look at the Awesome job they did of modeling this thing. even down to Ice Build up on Windscreen, and LE's, plus Killer Garmin G1000, 9/10 functional. thank god for Microsoft Flight SImX, for those who CAN'T afford the 2.2 Mil, for the Real thing. Lol
No thanks, I'll buy a Mooney Acclaim and save my self $2.3 million initially, and god knows how much in maintenance & fuel. Plenty of speed and capability.
Congratulations to the people who have made this video! Excellent shootings!!
Thats an awesome jet, nice landing very smooth
Owning and flying a jet is a dream of mine. Making it a reality is a whole other ballgame; I would like to see it happen though.
i want it!!
Yes, 1:28 is what I was referring to, where the aircraft icon is pointed 180 degrees from actual direction of flight. Thanks for the info.

@CessnaMustang1 That's actually a LOT less than I would have thought. I would have figured 5MM.

Considering the depth and detail of Dave's endorsement Cessna should have just given him the plane.

Im curious what TCO would be on this jet?
Cessna website quotes it at 1,150nm
No, the Mustang doesn't have reversers.
Any used mustangs on the market yet?
