Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas looked stunning with that wintery vibe in October. The views from the top were absolutely epic, and that by-pass path on the way back seems like a smart move. Such an inspiring adventure, thanks for sharing!

Nice one Derek, think that was the day I was up in Glencoe with similar conditions.
Plenty of snow up there for you as well, fantastic views all around and some great pics at the end. Hopefully not too long before we get some more snow, always makes the hiking a bit more exciting.

You are right Frank it was same day as your Glencoe hike. Looks like snow is returning next week. Hopefully, it stays around on the hills. Been incredibly mild since that cold spell last month. ATB Derek

Thanks for watching Andy. The height of the car park makes it an easier day. Definitely a hill best saving for a clear day to get the views. ATB Derek

Cracking day Derek. 😎 Always nice to see snow on the tops. That was a good wee winter spell back in Oct. The club bus went up stob Bin that day from the South. I never made it oot. Would like to return to these 2 in winter. Ma first 2 Munros 17 years ago.

It's a good short hike ideal for winter days. 1st time I climbed these two was back in 1990, the year I started doing the Munros. Think they were in the first five or so Munros I'd done. After getting soaked on way back from Ben Lawers i decided needed to save up for a Goretex jacket and better boots! Looks like snow will be returning to the hills next week. ❄️ATB Derek
