The new actress did a great job with the letter reading but the og still clears by a mile. They way her voice breaks kills me everytime and makes so much more tragic. Its a testament to her performance because after 23 years it still hold up so well

Bueno también se podría complementar con el final serenidad junto con el final dentro del agua. Se podría aclarar los últimos pensamientos de James y que una parte de el aún tenía la esperanza que siguiera con su vida interpretando en su cabeza la imagen de su esposa en el cadáver de su asiento trasero.

You need the key of sorrow and use it in the otherworld "lakeviewhotel"...in one of the last rooms, you will find a safe for the key and you need a code (314 for me on easy 3. Playthrough) and after finishing the game normally, I got this ending. The other one, I guess, will be drinking the "white Claudia" before interacting with the tape recorder, I will try this tomorrow. The white Claudia bottle is in the small chest you can find in the hospital garden - the key for it is in the bowling alley safe. (1887, regarding to a note at the end of the road near historical society)
El final dicha para mi en este remake es el mejor que hay, el soundtrack muy parecido a peace and serenity, el significado, el sentimiento que provoca, verga, lo hicieron muy bien este remake

I was expecting more joke endings but these new ones are surprisingly deep and tragically meaningful. I like how they split the In Water ending into two to reflect whether James believes Mary's soul is there or not. And the last one... wow. I see a bit of inspiration from The Shining.
Leave is still the best ending, James got the redemption from Mary and Mary also got the redemption from James. The new ending seems like a dream rather than reality, and a dream will always be woken…

Serenity definitivamente le agrega una capa más a "In Water". Una capa que no sabía que necesitaba en mi vida pero es perfección. In Water es mi final favorito en cierta forma del original, pero este es mejor. Creo que le da a James la resolución y absolución que buscaba, por lo que decide morir en paz. What is the real ending of the original? They say it's the ending of water, but that's not a fair ending. I wish they would make a DLC for the remake so that the events after Silent Hill can be narrated.
As a standalone game, there's no canon ending. But if you take in consideration some info from SH3 and SH4, is heavily implied that "In Water" is the canon ending.
@@hugocrespo7372 as far as i know, that's not true; those tidbits we get from the later games just state that James and Mary are "missing," which means the ending is left uncertain. personally a large fan of the "leave" ending, it makes more sense to me than the others, but they are all meticulously crafted.

Tengo la teoria de que en el final Serenidad James no se suicida, antes de que el carro arranque se escucha una puerta abrirse. Después se escucha un acelerador pero creo que quien esta "conduciendo" el auto esta vez es Mary, como si ella se fuera al más allá, y lo que realmente está pasando es que James está empujando el carro, a diferencia del final Bajo el Agua donde James está sólo con el cadáver de Mary atrás, en Serenidad ella sí está junto a James pero de una manera más simbólica o espiritual, creo yo.

You can do a Manual Save in the Lakeview hotel, complete the game with 1 ending, reload and replay doing another ending. I did 7 endings in 1 NG+ run, gold trophy included
Oh great. Didn't think of that. Congrats on your achievement 🙌. So it does include manual save on the PS5 version? So once entering the lakeview hotel. Do a manual save from that point. Finish the game. Then reload from the same lakeview location, and do a different route sequence for the other ending. Then finish game, then repeat cycle etc. I was just wondering, because I never got all the endings before in the original SH game and really want that trophy.
@@Chosen1_24 Well it’s more among the lines of creating a back up save or cloud save at the hotel. Platinum through on your current file getting the ending then deleting the save and uploading from the back-up and getting the others. It might sound stupid but that’s usually how I do it on PS4/PS5

No, todos los finales son acordes a la historia y son canónicos en su propio run, la idea es que esos pequeños cambios en la aventura puedan tener un final acorde a lo que hizo el jugador
En Dicha supuestamente es como que todo lo que paso en el juego fue un sueño y jamás pasó. En serenidad buscan darle un giro diferente al final donde se tira al agua, solo que agregan lo último que pensó James antes de tirarse
Dicha es lo que James realmente deseaba al ver la cinta, osea regresar en ese momento que grabó a Mary y se le cumplió, por eso su confusión al ver la cámara, Serenidad es más que nada la aceptación y el arrepentimiento que James sintió de matar a Mary
I feel Mary's letter is toned down too much. I knew it was ligthtning in a bottle the way the original voice actress performed it but the new actress (who does a fantastic job throughout the game) doesn't get even close in terms of emotion and I don't like how they edited the text and added unnecessary music.

El cuerpo de Mary se ve al inicio del juego, tienes que verlo muy a detalle, sabía que no era una simple sombra o cosa puesta porque sí

What is the real ending of the original? They say it's the ending of water, but that's not a fair ending. I wish they would make a DLC for the remake so that the events after Silent Hill can be narrated.
As a standalone game, there's no canon ending. But if you take in consideration some info from SH3 and SH4, is heavily implied that "In Water" is the canon ending.
@@hugocrespo7372 as far as i know, that's not true; those tidbits we get from the later games just state that James and Mary are "missing," which means the ending is left uncertain. personally a large fan of the "leave" ending, it makes more sense to me than the others, but they are all meticulously crafted.
@@kryatinhonestly if there's ever an sh4 remake I'm really interested if they're gonna retcon that, or just add a definitive ending. They've already confirmed silent hill is in Maine for this game, so it's like it's not unheard of
Tengo la teoria de que en el final Serenidad James no se suicida, antes de que el carro arranque se escucha una puerta abrirse. Después se escucha un acelerador pero creo que quien esta "conduciendo" el auto esta vez es Mary, como si ella se fuera al más allá, y lo que realmente está pasando es que James está empujando el carro, a diferencia del final Bajo el Agua donde James está sólo con el cadáver de Mary atrás, en Serenidad ella sí está junto a James pero de una manera más simbólica o espiritual, creo yo.
Creo que en lugar de ponerle in water, hubieran dejado el serenity, estaría perfecto, excelso final.

estoy confundido con el final de dicha, osea que el se quedo atrapado en la grabacion? la verdad me gusto mucho los 3 juegos pero el 2 me parece un poco triste por que en todos los finales no se ve que el personaje haya tenido paz excepto en ese ultimo final que hicieron pero a la vez lo veo algo triste
Una pregunta al sacar cualquiera de los otros finales....si es en menos de 10 horas si te da el logro?

To get all 6 endings achievements. Do i have to play the game 6 full times, or is there a way around it to get 6 endings,faster?
You can do a Manual Save in the Lakeview hotel, complete the game with 1 ending, reload and replay doing another ending. I did 7 endings in 1 NG+ run, gold trophy included
Obviously multiple save files will help with a few of these.

Oh great. Didn't think of that. Congrats on your achievement 🙌. So it does include manual save on the PS5 version? So once entering the lakeview hotel. Do a manual save from that point. Finish the game. Then reload from the same lakeview location, and do a different route sequence for the other ending. Then finish game, then repeat cycle etc. I was just wondering, because I never got all the endings before in the original SH game and really want that trophy.
@@Chosen1_24 Well it’s more among the lines of creating a back up save or cloud save at the hotel. Platinum through on your current file getting the ending then deleting the save and uploading from the back-up and getting the others. It might sound stupid but that’s usually how I do it on PS4/PS5

El final UFO obvio no iban a poner a Harry, o referencias muy concetras de los otros SH porque Bloober quiere ver como reciben el juego los fans, si todo sale bien y lo apoyan mucho van a encargarse de los otros 3 e incluso me atreveria a decir que del origins y los demas. Pero mientras tanto, este remake si trae nostalgia y melancolía, Muy buenos elogios se merecen Bloober, lo hicieron muy bien

No hay final canon. Los creadores dijeron que a nivel personal ese es el más les gustaba en general, pero que no era necesariamente el canon.

No, todos los finales son acordes a la historia y son canónicos en su propio run, la idea es que esos pequeños cambios en la aventura puedan tener un final acorde a lo que hizo el jugador

En Dicha supuestamente es como que todo lo que paso en el juego fue un sueño y jamás pasó. En serenidad buscan darle un giro diferente al final donde se tira al agua, solo que agregan lo último que pensó James antes de tirarse
Dicha es lo que James realmente deseaba al ver la cinta, osea regresar en ese momento que grabó a Mary y se le cumplió, por eso su confusión al ver la cámara, Serenidad es más que nada la aceptación y el arrepentimiento que James sintió de matar a Mary
En Serenidad James se mata para estar con Mary, en Dicha queda atrapado en sus recuerdos felices de cuando ella estaba viva.

I feel Mary's letter is toned down too much. I knew it was ligthtning in a bottle the way the original voice actress performed it but the new actress (who does a fantastic job throughout the game) doesn't get even close in terms of emotion and I don't like how they edited the text and added unnecessary music.
