Here catching up on videos I missed. So happy to hear that you will be returning soon.Your day sounds like mine with appointments and laundry. Great budget breakdown. #community
Thanks so much!! We will probably remain cashless for groceries, but cash for other variable expenses. Haven't figured that out yet. I typically overspend at the grocery store, so I went to shopping online.
hi!! i agree for me I prefer to use cash.. i use cash envelopes for groc, dine out & hh.. im back into the groove now a few months & it's easier than swiping!
Please try to figure a way to pay that daycare "by bank" versus "by debit card" that works for you. If you pay an extra $7 once per week, that's $364 in a 52 week year, $182 in a 26 week year, or $84 in a 12 month year; all just for the convience and ease of using a debit card.
With the amount of driving, and hence gallons of gas, Ty is driving does she use cash, debit, or credit card? In our area debit and credit card use was $.20/ gallon more. Since about the latter part of '22, more stations have gone back charging only $.10 extra for debit cards and between $.20 and $.25 extra per gallon for credit cards. If you're buying 15 gallons per tank, 3 times per week, 52 days per year you are paying $2340 extra per year at $.10 per gallon for using a debit card. At $.20 per gallon you are paying $4680 per year to use a credit card.
You are currently paying $153.x to Affirm for your phone which is almost paid off. When it is paid off, will you be adding an Exrra Debt line item to your budget and filling it out with $153 in debt snowball fashion?
