this may be an unpopular opinion but I actually don't mind any of the characters in this game, even leon despite being obnoxious I feel like that makes me want to him beat him more and bring down a peg lol
they did something good..Hop is basically Barry 2.0 and Bede is that typical ass that reminds you of Gary..i like having both friendly and a jerk as rival! and a cute rival like Marnie is great too :P

Why would anyone be thinking about the other GameFreak game when "Leaving Town" is a common phrase and the title specifically says "without a starter Pokémon in Sword and Shield." And Little Town Hero isn't even out yet so how are they supposed to show us leaving an upcoming game with an objective in an unrelated game?

I’m not sure you can. The train is being fixed until after the battle at Magnolia’s house, which obviously can’t happen now.

Interesting.... so without a pokemon, the game doesnt spawn any at all to prevent any issue and once you encounter a trainer it freezes.

This is why you add failsafe to your code. Also, why testers are to rub their faces on EVERY SINGLE WALL.
They are using cheats to go out of bounds.
They used a Walk Through Walls code, you can't clip through that wall. If you can, it wouldn't be as simple as the person made it out to be.

Well if you can simply phase through walls like this - when pokemon home comes out theoretically when you get to the pokemon center you can give yourself your own starter.

I actually really enjoyed this. It’s fun to teat the boundaries of games and see what happens.
I think the crash at the end was because the trigger for Hop stopping you from entering the grass is still loaded, but can't load in his talking animation.
I'd be interested to see if it's possible to unlock the flying taxi early and travel to some later game locations without a Pokémon, or if all no pokemon sequence breaks cause the game to crash

Johnjs no they didn’t. All of the returning Pokémon’s models and animations were copied and pasted into this game. And the dynamax Pokémon were just upscaled in size.
