Brother, thank you so much for this break down. That $20-23k estimate is right on with what I spent, so this is a great sanity check. I have a 2010 Shelby GT500 and got the 3.0L Gen5 Whipple, tons of upgraded reservoirs, belts, tunings, mgw short shifter, refinished wheels, exhaust all the way back, etc. etc. and it's right on with that estimate. Really appreciate your style and candor.

Literally the first person I've ever heard of who tried Coopers and was happy. One of the guys I hang with bought a set for his GT500 (2014) and swapped them to some Continentals the very next weekend. More power to you if they're working great. Stay safe everyone. Cheers from Florida.

First time watcher here.. I think you did it exactly right man.. you have 55k in a very nice looking and preforming GT.. great work.. my only question is have you had the car on a dyno? What are the SAE rwhp and rwtq numbers??
My 2017 Silverado was just recently stolen and I’ve been thinking about getting a GT. I’m a car guy so I love Ford, Chevy and Dodge. Just seems the GT you get a lot of bang for your buck. Your GT is sweet looking! Same look I want for mine if I get it.
For the money I'd go with a C5 z06. You can get them around 25k

The only thing I don't like about the S550 is the front bumper regardless of the year. I'd definitely have to change it and the fenders for the GT350 setup. And that happy medium stance is the perfect height. Too low is never good in the long run. Have had years of experience with that mess during my 20's.

The power of my own work. Cammed, twin turbos, e85 and tune. All cost me around 16-18k including wheels and other things.

How much power do you think I could make with 93 octane instead? E85 isn't super available where I live. Also, did your interior come red like that? Or did you redo the interior?

Probably the price from bump minus rebates, holdback, and sold under invoice. If he was smart he looked up X-plan or dealer pricing and was able to know he could negotiate to that price at some degree. It’s all in the effort of looking or finding good deals. Big dealerships want to sell cars, catch them at the right time and you can really save money.
Bought my 2018 around $37,500 similar setup, not done quite the work he has but I’ve invested about 7-8k in mods.

Just have a question so I hope you get this. Hiw much research did you do on superchargers. Why whipple? Did you look at others i.e. roush, VMP. I've been looking and told to lean to VMP with lund tuning.

I know this is an old video but how do you like the MT-82 with the MGW short throw upgrade? And how would you compare it to the tremec in the Mach 1/GT 350 if you drive one with that transmission?

Hellion Sleeper twin turbo kit with upgraded 62mm turbos, 2011-2014 driver side header, JMS FuelMax, Deatschwerks 95 Lb injectors, Go Fast Bit bo0st controller, PBD tune and self install. 1083 crank HP 820 WHP at 12.2 Lbs of boost. $10857.61 (current price) +tax Stock motor, stock trans, stock rear end and my daily driver. I have had the kit since 2019 (little cheaper then) and installed at 40K miles and now has 82K miles.

When you change you challenger you go to miss it, the mustang is better when you go to do big changes but stock or lighter mods like E85, exhaust, intake, basic mods, I prefer the challenger bro she never says no, I have my challenger for more than 3 years runing 10.60 on 1/4 and 6.7 on the 1/8 and I never broke any single part, look the Rush garage the challenger only is ready every day 😉 , Im ready for take my mustang on the garage few times.
You’ll miss the challenger when you see other challengers lol. I sold my 392 for a 5.0 and like the 5.0 better but there’s always a special part for the challenger

I think in a previous video you were getting locked out on 3 n 4th during a roll.... most likely is your clutch giving out. I'd recommend a mantic triple disc if u wanna keep that mt 82 alive. Or just throw the money at a t56 and pair it with that mantic n boom you'll thank me later! And upgrade those dingy half shafts from ford

Why do you have to manually close the valves for your Magnaflow exhaust with a plate? Considering you have more modes (sport, track and others), shouldn't you have had originally automatic opening/closing valves? At least, this is what Magnaflow said, that their exhaust is compatible to your original valves system.

A new GT costs much more than 23k. Also, when you put that many mods on a car, you're gonna have issues. Trust me...he's gonna have issues. His tranny is just the beginning. And...it's still a Ford.
@@GTO4now oh yeah for sure a new GT is more but the resale value is low. You can find a year old GT with decent mileage for mid 20's.
So buy a 03 or 04 cobra don’t gotta worry about much below 1000 HP
