Do you think this only happens in FL? Was a manager of a large commercial property for 21yrs. I can tell you that we were sued everyday. People see the property and automatically think deep pockets. They fake getting hurt that is why those cameras are there to protect the property owners. Most large properties are self insured up several million dollars before their insurance even kicks in. Property owners have two choices after getting a letter from lawyer. They can either fight the lawsuit or offer the claimant a settlement. Most of the time they will offer a settlement even if the claim is fraudulent. Why? Because fighting will cost more even if the property owners win the case because they have to pay lawyers, investigators etc. You want to blame someone for the way things are then blame the people who are making a quick buck on the rest of society. Everytime a claim is paid out that money is recuperated by raising the price of things. In the end everyone pays including the person who got the settlement
What a convoluted reasoning. The simple truth, whatever you have to say about video proof, etc., is that every lawyer you contacted found your case very frail. So, you couldn't find any lawyer available to work on a contingency agreement (where basically the lawyer is investing his money on your case), and, instead, everyone you contacted asked you to pay a fee, but you don't have the money. Sadly i think too many people abused the system in the 80s and 90s, on a different note i knew 1 person who did get a pretty massive settlement, he got injured in an accident as a baby when his car-seat malfunctioned, anyways back in like 05 when turned 18 he was getting 2500 a month and also lump sum payouts every i think 3 years of like 80k (these were also going into a trust before turned 18) the sad part is even with this advantage dude has never been able to keep a roof over his head and keep out of trouble.
Well, they did abuse the system… oh well. They didn’t create the system tho. The people who created the system are worst abusers of it, that would be the wealthy. An injury costs money, you can't work, healing up costs time, if you are not well insured (health insurance is very complex in America) treatment will be very expensive and Americans are quicker to file a lawsuit than us Europeans. But we can all learn from a case like this. I think we can learn a lot from Americans and vice versa.
Hotels can’t create situations that hurt people needlessly
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS what do you mean ? I don't understand. What has a hotel to do with the incident? This could've happened in an elevator on Amsterdam railway station, and it would be the same thing.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS wait wait wait, i start to comprehend what you mean. So, your point is that you think an incident was avoidable "in your perspective", elevator malfunctioned, staff asking you to try to open the door, then the injury; the hotel has to cover for your costs?
Man this American way of thinking boggles my mind, lawsuit or settlrment for everything bad happening in life.
Dude, if you would be in my country right now, you would'nt even survive here! You think Florida is though? Then the Netherlands is a hellhole!
Dutch people would absolutely give you a very, very, very hard time! You think life is unfair based on this event?
Man, the Netherlands is then the most unfair place in the entire universe!
sorry you got injured and had that happen being stuck in there
I feel you dude but unfortunately that's lawsuits. The have attorneys to find any little thing against you. My MIL works for a law firm and she had a accident with Uber. Their insurance payout was $1M which with all the surgeries she had and a lifetime more she deserved it. She took the settlement and explained its BC no one wants to pay for litigation. Those get costly unfortunately. I guess hindsight is 50-50. Ppl in this situation don't do nothing. Make them call 911. Also don't elevators have a button to call the fire dept? Idk based on your side of the story its messed up what happened but I think I gotta agree that in a court of law it was partly your fault and that alone they won.
And thanks for all your video's, Big thumbs up!!
Dude it sounds to me like you all need to leave Florida and maybe try something new...
I got rear ended at johns pass year ago woman had no bodily injury coverage I would have to sue my insurance company or sue her personally, she's. a drunk with no assets. what would I get a judgement and a big bill from my lawyer? a year later I'm 85% better.
✊🏾🤦🏾♂️ FACTS
We live in an ugly world where what we perceive just isn't even part of the truth. In the future, the good people will unite and work together to solve worldwide problems. Just keep trying to always do the right thing for the greater good of the whole world human family of our Creator, and blessings will come, in this life or the next.

that's bay county for you.
Rigged
Cameras WILL WORK AGAINST YOU.
Wtf??? You should contact your state representatives and bug them. Maybe they can get those jerks to reply to your emails. 😠
This isn't just an issue in Florida; stop bashing the state. You could have continued on to Mississippi and stayed there.
Yo mama
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS unfortunately if you did anything to cause it it your fault
First amendment auditors film interactions in public places then sue when they are injured so maybe the system is thinking everyone is an instigator ? I don’t know
I definitely don’t consider myself an instigator and i don’t have much respect for them. I was at a hotel for work and got hurt by two high idiots and it nearly ruined my life. Thankfully somehow we managed
God Bless Jose.
I am sorry that you were injured, and I hope that you recover and are made whole. To the defense of Karma, it does not have to happen in our lifetime. It can happen in the next reincarnation. There is no proof of Karma, but it gives peace to some people.
It’s an illusion of some sort.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I would say it is not illusion but faith.
chiefland florida.
I guess lawyers don't want to take a case unless they're sure they can win.
In settlement.. not court *

Europe oligarchs
So, I don’t give a damn if somebody’s sues a city for too much rain. Until this system makes it fair for the poor, and stops corporations and especially insurance companies from stealing Billions every year…. We can abuse it too.
The Infinite, Eternal, All-Powerful, Always All-Creating, Always All-Inclusive, Living, and All-Knowing LORD will always bless all who always try to do the right thing for the greater good of the whole world human family of our Creator, in this life cycle or the next life cycle. Physical activity and mental activity didn't activate out of infinite inactive empty space. The Supreme LORD is the MASTER of CAUSALITY, much more than our finite, incomplete, and imperfect minds can ever imagine.

Morgan and Morgan 😲
🤷🏼
They suck. They didn't pursue squat when I got sick from the neighbor pouring Draino down his sink, going through the plumbing and gassing me in my shower. Lung issues because of it. Didn't hear from them for weeks. Then I got was a letter saying we dropped your case after promising me the moon and the stars.
@@PineIslandSeeds sounds fairly accurate
Auto insurance should be outlawed in Florida until they get rid of the no-fault law It should be somewhat like Tennessee because you're paying out the ass for coverage and there isn't any.... And if so they should make it a minimum to cover damage and loss because that young lady was only paying enough to turn her key on and drive. . She broadsided me spun me around and flung me head on into a Dodge ram truck I damn near died
Exactly 💯. Insurance companies are a flat out SCAM
Insurance for everything is inflated in Florida now.
ITS THE LAWS NEED CHANGED. NO FAULT LAWS IN FLORIDA...... EDUCATE YOURSELF AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE A GREAT INFORMATIVE CONVERSATION ABOUT THE LAWS IN FLORIDA THAT WORK AGAINST INJURED PEOPLE... ESPECIALLY IN AUTO ACCIDENTS NO FAULT IS BAD VERY VERY BAD LAW
