Extremely discouraging accurately true facts. I am in St Johns county where I dont see the gang crime. But I know that its around. Governor Desantis is aware that these gangs are effecting the quality of life in Florida. Going forward, he will need to address the drug infested, poverty that is increasing in the state.
We left 'Lauderdale in 87' due to overcrowding and our area of Sunrise becoming overrun with a lower-class of renters. So happy to be in Volusia Co. now. There is moderate gang activity in D.B. and Deltona however.

Have visited Ft. Lauderdale many times since the 1970’s and up until recently. I’ve never understood it’s appeal. Aside from being a major flood zone it has always just looked kinda’ dumpy!
The area around US 1 & east is some of the richest on Earth, that's the appeal of Fort Lauderdale. It's one of a few destinations on Earth for the mega yachts, bringing in millions of $ in support. If you want to buy a new Lambo, McLaren, Ferrari, Bentley new or used the dealers are all on US 1 close together. Aside from that area,Ft Lauderdale is a dump few want to even drive thru. It's sketchy & lawless thruout west of & around 95.
West Palm Beach I stayed there during one Spring Training. Cross the wrong bridge and they are running down the street barefoot with AKs shooting. Riviera beach is beautiful but dangerous
Living in Florida, you’re paying for the location, the warm weather and the ocean (paradise, obviously only pertains in some areas after watching this video), explains why housing is high. The midwest housing prices are ridiculous. They are trying to keep up with CA and Florida and it shouldn’t be like that.
I think one big reason the gangs are so prevalent in FL is the fact that in the late 70's early 80's, FL was the main route of most of the drugs, or at least the coke that came up from South America. My cousin, who lived in Bartow, says the Polk County was the first stopping point for smugglers driving north, namely, Lake Wales. Back in the 80's there was a lot of meth too, according to him, especially in Alturas, just east of Bartow.
I stayed in Bradenton when I was a troubled teen with my Grandparents. It was literally like an episode of cops where one side of the tracks was beautiful and safe and the other a ugly ghetto
I live in Manatee county, right next to Bradenton. I def agree it has the worst homeless problem. Driving around Bradenton and seeing all the homeless with signs or sleeping out in the open, it’s really sad. I keep wishing someone could come up with housing or communities where they’d have a place to call home. Even if it’s tiny. They have possessions they have to travel with each day to keep from losing the little they’ve accumulated 😢

You make it sound like these places are decaying and just falling apart. Crime is a part of society. You have pockets of places you stay out of. I worked in Lauderhill for 10 years and never had a problem. Never felt unsafe. I have friends that live in Lauderhill and Fort Lauderdale and most people just want to go home and be with their families.
Why I am not surprised that Fort Lauderdale is number 1. I am from this city and Fort Lauderdale has been ratchet for decades now. And also around the Sistrunk area they are already started the gentrification projects. Across the train tracks the wealthy and on the other side the poor Armand working class. Good call 👍🏾
I remember when Sistrunk was really bad, it’s not how it used to be like you said with the gentrification, I used to live on 15th ave and 6th street back 06-09 it was pretty rough then
Miami used to have a really bad street gang problem in the 80s and 90s. Even in the early and mid 00s we had gang problems in the public school system in Dade and it got to a point where the inner city schools had to implement uniforms because of the gang colors. I don't know if it still does. A lot of urban Miami has been driven out the last 25 years.

You’re insane if you think gangs are as bad in Florida as they are in California. Louisiana has far worse gangs than Florida too. Michigan, Illinois, Philadelphia, Washington DC, are far worse as well. Florida isn’t nearly as dangerous, because citizens are allowed and encouraged to protect themselves. Criminals are actually considered as being criminals in the great state of Florida!
The most dangerous states by homicide rates and gun infliction deaths are all states with lose gun laws. Compare Louisiana to new york homicide and gun fatalities to get your answer

Thanks for sharing. Before I moved here years ago, someone from here told me all of this, and sure enough I saw it/see it. Darker days are already foretold to be coming. Read your Bible. Night is coming.
There may be gangs in Florida but citizens are permitted to protect themselves. Foreign persons who come to Florida from other countries and become violent, should be sent back to their home country.
Some of this logic is really really bad. Just because Jamaican and Puerto Rican people live somewhere doesn't mean it's inherently dangerous. The city statistics absolutely disprove what you're saying.
Everyone in Florida should move to California where there ain't no gangs , low crime rate and absolutely no drug problem , hardly a homeless person on the clean streets , prices are low ,,all because Gavin Newsome is doing a great job. Yep , there is the solution, lol. I have been Florida my whole 70 years - there was more gangs in the 70's and 80's then now. Our Florida Sheriff Deputies are the best in the Country .
I’m 70 years old and have lived in Florida all my life. I travel throughout Florida and spend much time in several of these cities you’ve mentioned. I never see any gang activity as I avoid the “dark areas” of cities. I’ve known what parts of town to avoid since I was a kid, and I still do. Don’t go where you don’t belong and you’re very unlikely to run into any gang bangers.
Very seasonal, over saturation of people doing exactly what you want to do means there’s already more pizza places open than customers walking in. Its fun place to snowbird and a depressing year round site. Safe, yes. Most areas. Dunedin is nice.
Clearwater would be a good place to live and start a business depending on you want to do. It’s not a depressing place. There are a lot of snowbirds but if you find a good house in the regular neighborhoods you probably won’t notice much of that seasonal influx. One of the things that is really good about Clearwater is that it is an incorporated city. Like any larger city there are good areas and bad areas.
The beach is a literal money machine. I've worked in the food/produce industry as well as event planning. Tons of opportunities. Seasonal bartenders I know can make 2k in a week during the "season"
I check the news everyday and stay on top of florida politics and can say Gangs are not an issue in florida that needs some special attention. I don't think I have ever heard of any city florida being rampant with gang crime. When law enforcement is allowed to do their job things stay in check.

Lakeland???? With Sheriff Grady Judd????? I’ve lived here 30 years and I’ve never encountered any kind of gang activity at all. I shudder to think that it’s happening here. 😳
Florida native here 56 years grew up in Orlando me and my extended family had to move out most of them have gone out of the state altogether because of the crime and the violence.
Everybody's moving here from Puerto Rico Honduras New York California all the bad people are moving here.
And yes there are lots of gangs here in Polk county lots
I live in Lakeland and it is nowhere near as bad as Jax, Miami, Tampa, or Orlando. Lived here for 50 years. We got Grady. They usually try to stay far from Polk. 😊
Na its getting bad in lakeland west side east side sum north south side really the best
Manatee county Bradenton fl getting bad
Then you never tune in to a Sheriff Grady Judd press conferences on TH-cam where he shows you the mugshots of the gang criminals he and his department capture during the worst criminal investigations and what they reveal.
You should be educated like this man and his channel is if you're a Florida voter!
Extremely discouraging accurately true facts. I am in St Johns county where I dont see the gang crime. But I know that its around. Governor Desantis is aware that these gangs are effecting the quality of life in Florida. Going forward, he will need to address the drug infested, poverty that is increasing in the state.
Thanks for the information.
Oh please. This information isn't worth the read
This native Floridian approves the completely accurate video!! Born in Hollywood raised in Fort Lauderdale Davie sunrise … oh yea Very sad. Very sad.
I wasn't born in Florida but I've been raised for over 37 years here and yes indeed the change has been severe
We left 'Lauderdale in 87' due to overcrowding and our area of Sunrise becoming overrun with a lower-class of renters. So happy to be in Volusia Co. now. There is moderate gang activity in D.B. and Deltona however.
@@fredwalton8592I’ve lived in Daytona Beach area since 79 and I totally agree 🤙🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻
As someone who lives in Jacksonville, you're spot on. But with that said, you just have to know what areas to avoid, like what Jose said. If you don't go to the bad parts of town, then you can be relevantly safe in Jacksonville. I've lived in Jacksonville for most of life and never been a victim of crime, except for when my parent's VCR and my Sega Genesis got stolen back in the 90s.
with the work i do, i end up in bad areas too often
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS true, but I do like the fact that you get the good and parts of an area and you don't give a sugarcoated opinion of a place.
I work Jax a few months a year. Stay east of the St Johns river & downtown & you avoid 90% of problems. Jax beach, Atlantic Beach, ponte vedra are all a world away from the west side of Jax, but only a few minutes drive away.
@@wayneanderson8034 as someone who lives in Jacksonville year round, you're spot on
@@wayneanderson8034 I generally agree, but Jax beach is less safe than the other beaches. There are pockets of higher crime areas in Arlington and south side too…
I’m surprised you didn’t mention Liberty City and Little Haiti😊Great video!
Little haiti isn’t “a city” nor is liberty city thats a neighborhood in miami

I lived in FLORI-DAH for the past 71 years and seen it grow, As I grew up in South Miami and Lauderdale from the 50's to 70's , it was nice back then . Every city has its problems , even the smaller towns , there is always the Hood area .
Thank you. Thank God I feel safe where I live north of Orlando.
I live in Palm Beach County and we have two cities on this list. He’s on point!
From NY, lived in cal , Chicago. Florida isn't anywhere NEAR in gangs . These are baby gangs out here. The only reason people here think its bad is cause yall dont know better
We don't worry about it. I've been here my whole life. Mafia way worse.
Very informative. Thank you.
It would be nice if you did a video on the top 10 best cities to live in with the best schools for a family.
Hernando county
Excellent report. Thank you!
I would argue that Jacksonville is more dangerous than Miami
Miami still more dangerous more drug dealing
Born and raised in Ft. Lauderale for 35 years, I've never seen any gang related activity here or have I ever seen it hit the news. As far as South Florida goes, I would definitely stay away from Miami. People die in Miami everyday due to street violence
I love the Tampa Bay area of Florida, especially Pinellas County. Nice beaches, parks, and entertainment.
How about Liberty City, Overtown, Opalaka, and Little Haity? There is no shortage of bad areas in south Florida.
That's all in miami also most of south florida is really not that bad

Thank you for the advice
Great job on your information and report, God Bless Your Great Success 😇❤️🌹. Absolutely Amen 🙏
The problem is poverty. Florida is over priced and over valued. It truly sucks.
Cheaper than other states

Thanks. But I think Florida still good compared to other places; our police don’t play, here.
NO ONE in politics talking about how to solve this problem. Except one person and they want to lock him up instead. We're f*ked.
thank you for making people aware
😊Thank you for this valuable information. I must say you have done a great job dealing with the sensitivity of the area.
Good job!! Thanks for truthful informatiin!! Thank you for being brave.
I stayed in Bradenton when I was a troubled teen with my Grandparents.
It was literally like an episode of cops where one side of the tracks was beautiful and safe and the other a ugly ghetto
Hey brother. 1'st time watching
Been in Florida 45yrs! I'm ready to say good bye to this state
Aint much left
I live in Manatee county, right next to Bradenton. I def agree it has the worst homeless problem. Driving around Bradenton and seeing all the homeless with signs or sleeping out in the open, it’s really sad. I keep wishing someone could come up with housing or communities where they’d have a place to call home. Even if it’s tiny. They have possessions they have to travel with each day to keep from losing the little they’ve accumulated 😢
Drugs and addiction its sad life
I'm curious about the censorship. I'm assuming it was YT who took down some of you vids? With all the garbage on YT and other platforms why they would take down videos similar to this one is beyond me.
I'm a Florida resident and found this video informative and enlightening. It was about 50/50,info I was aware of /not aware. Thanks for your time and effort producing it and hopefully YT doesn't do anything stupid and leaves it up
Real good stuff. This is where you shine. There could have been more detail, but that would for sure get you taken down. TH-cam is a business, and advertisers do not want to be associated with gangs.
I also don’t want gangs bothering me so.. details are limited 😊
Thanks for the informative information. Stay Alert. Stay Awake not Woke!
FL needs a Governor who doesn't want to make life difficult for the taxpayers and stup!dly control the good ppl with ridiculous rules and laws that mean absolutely NOTHING! They need a gov who wants to do something about the poverty and the violence and the streets
Miami Garden for those of us that live here is Carol City. The name was changed to get people to move in. By changing the name the crime rate started from zero.

Sistrunk had changed alot but the gangs are still there
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS true
I remember when Sistrunk was really bad, it’s not how it used to be like you said with the gentrification, I used to live on 15th ave and 6th street back 06-09 it was pretty rough then
ITS BEEN THAT WAY FOR YEARS , WEST OF THE TRACKS , BETTER ARMED YOURSELF
Miami used to have a really bad street gang problem in the 80s and 90s. Even in the early and mid 00s we had gang problems in the public school system in Dade and it got to a point where the inner city schools had to implement uniforms because of the gang colors. I don't know if it still does. A lot of urban Miami has been driven out the last 25 years.
Its al moved a little north now

heck when we first moved to lakeland there was 150 known gang memembers when moved from there in 2008 there was around 580 probly double now. the number one thing supporting the influx is the missions there they pay for bus fair from all over the country for felons to lakeland
The stupidity to believe fox news and the NRA. Florida has had higher homicide rates than California for decades now.
The most dangerous states by homicide rates and gun infliction deaths are all states with lose gun laws. Compare Louisiana to new york homicide and gun fatalities to get your answer

What gangs are there?
@@bigjorge863 gg, cbg,k4k, these are few of the gangs
There may be gangs in Florida but citizens are permitted to protect themselves. Foreign persons who come to Florida from other countries and become violent, should be sent back to their home country.
You Did A Great Job On Exposing This👍👍‼️‼️‼️
Some of this logic is really really bad.
Florida stiil can't touch California ever.
I saw a gang in Bakersfield like 50 deep.. it was like wow.. no way this is real.
In terms of what?
WE WILL BE THE NEW CALIFORNIA IN LESS THAN 5 YEARS , YOU WILL SEE , WE ARE ALREADY FULL .
Is Clearwater FL a good place to open a business and live a safe life?
It’s beautiful in Clearwater got one of if not the best beach in America
The beach is a literal money machine. I've worked in the food/produce industry as well as event planning.
Tons of opportunities. Seasonal bartenders I know can make 2k in a week during the "season"
I’m looking at Clearwater that’s where my family from I never been there myself but looking to connect with them
I check the news everyday and stay on top of florida politics and can say Gangs are not an issue in florida that needs some special attention. I don't think I have ever heard of any city florida being rampant with gang crime. When law enforcement is allowed to do their job things stay in check.
I live in Trinity Florida & it’s absolutely beautiful,so I don’t know what you’re talking about..
I am in total agreement, I'm a lifetime Florida resident.
