Very nice to watch. Very relaxing. Like her metaphoric descriptions of nature around her. "The sun is touching with her fingers ...". Like it when sometimes she just say nothing. Sometimes silence speaks louder than words. I didnt see any other vlogger skilled with silence. I appreciate it.
WOW just wow I've lost count of how many times I've walked around the short 13 mile circuit. I even cycled around with my mum on her trike, stuff of memories but never thought about camping before.
Saw you on Paul’s Channel at the expo, so thought I would come and check you out. Great video. Looks like I’ll be settling into my favourite chair and watching some more of your videos.
That was a great wild camp waking up in that spot must have been amazing you could here the birds and the peace and quiet must have been great, one of those moments I had one recently sat on Mother Cap just across from Fox House watching the sun set no wind either just the sounds of nature. I shall keep an eye out for you and your best friend my favourite area in the peaks is Grindleford and Padley Gorge.
I'm sure you'll see me up there at some point, so many great walks around there! And yes it was one of my highlights of the year plus I met Paul messner that day, photo bombed him at the outdoor expo 😂

Your vid made me sigh - sigh in a positive way of peacefulness, contentment and yearning. As a septuagenarian I am determined to get some more lightweight camping in on my 'Bucket List' and as a long-term naturalised Midlander, the area you seem to favour is well known to and loved by me. Thanks so much for the video. Isn't it a terrible shame that we who want to preserve as well as enjoy the environment have to 'sneak' into it in order to enjoy it? Those folk who spoil it should be more rigorously punished rather than prevent the rest of us from access. Xena is a beaut'. Sadly my two dogs are well into pension age and I could not subject them to the rigors of camping or else I would love to. They, I'm sure would love it but they are not up to it. C'est la vie. What caused the condensation? Weather, or design? Patches of frost - I recall a solo camp where I went to bed in the semi-warm and woke up to frost stiffening the tent - no condensation, though. Looking carefully at your rather impressive tent, the amount of vents in the fly seems to be lacking. May account for the inner dampness. Thank you so much for a great video. Paul in the Mids.

I've camped a few times near the shore line, until the last time when I got up the next morning and there were about 4 fishermen in a rowing boat, all glaring at me. Quite a while ago now though. :)

Funny one, trying to do a steathy naughty camp, and then whispering most of it just in case they find you haha, looked like and epic spot and lovely calm weather, would have been out this weekend to but just got a 8wk old alaskan malamute, so need to get some training in before i can take her out like i did my last one everywhere! I think it's easy to look back and see the 'good ol days' and view our life of quantity versus their life of quality. I wonder if we lived back then whether our wellbeing would be rated as better, worse, or is it all relative? Either way I think we need to find better balance in our modern lives and for me, that's finding time to slow down, get in touch with nature, be present, and stop worrying about the big stuff, which in the grand scheme of the universe really doesn't matter anyway. Hello.. My journey,s are on hold. My road to no-where is now part of me. I am planning a road to some-where trip in September if my doctor allows me. I want my journey to take me to the ocean. There i can forage and catch fish to cook on an open-fire or BBQ. I need to make new memories as my past is now lost. Tomorrow is another day and my yesterday,s are gone but it does not matter now. Not heard of anyone being kicked off Derwent Edge yet although it is moscar owned. Burbage, stanage and Bamford edge ive heard people being kicked off, quad bikes and thermal cameras like u say 👍
Depends which road, nr the Yorkshire bridge is safe, down lady bower and snake pass a bit less but I've never had a problem. I'd recommend you scout it out first, I'd also leave lady bower at the moment, wait till autumn, the rangers will be hot round there at the mo 😉

Haha glad u enjoyed. The scarp 1 is designed not to go to the ground at the bottom. U can have a bit of a gap both sides, or a lot of a gap one side 😉
