This is a really good concept and product,

The two biggest limitations with the technology are resolution and brightness. I have two nebra Anybeams I run in Nvidia surround I get a resolution of 640x720 at a decent size.

I want one so badly to develop, but is impossible to find, or just one unit have a prohibitive price.
I would buy the mirror or the full rgb projector, just provide an url please.

so this one can display over a curved surface. they should make it to be a selling point.

It's not a new technolgy, vector laser scanning already used decades ago even in the discos, the only difference it using mems mirror for the projection.

@@RonaldMallory product size and pixel density matter. light bulb has been used centuries ago but putting millions of bulb inside a square inch is a different story.

This is just a nebra anybeam, just more expensive…

Nebra AnyBeam is one such scanning laser projector module. It appears Ultimems actually make the mirror chip they're built from.
Personally I'm more interested in the true 2D vector version than the raster scanners. Their efficiency and resolution scales up drastically when showing lines, curves or even scattered dots, like the cat shown initially in this video, star maps, or vector arcade games like Asteroids, Spacewar! or Tempest.
There's a chance the lady showing the product wasn't very well informed (but I expect a larger influence was language barriers and trying to tell what Charbax's level is), but both of the raster scan modules were using resonance, such that the back and forth swing involved in raster scanning is mostly mechanical spring action. This reduces power demand for directing the mirror.
Charbax' level.. well, at 4:45 he stuck his production camera straight in the path of a laser beam and lucked out a bit in catching some images through reflections off the camera, and not burning out a few pixels. Do not look into laser with remaining eye, as the adage goes.
He's not wrong to ask about fitting inside a phone; Lenovo Smart Cast did fit a picoprojector, and I believe they had a tablet that made it to market.
Someone who appears to have more experience than I (commenting on Hackaday in 2019) recognized the devkits, indicating the Nebra is indeed an Ultimems based design. So yes, that's one place you can buy their raster scan hardware.
