Incorrect our national record is 26.52,30 ;)
@@bifitcycling1105 eum no??that time is the 10.000m record.. 10k record is 27'47"..
That is ridiculously fast... amazing!
4:50 min per mile pace is insane, this guy is a beast🤙
🤘
This was more around 4:31 min per mile which is a lot more impressive
WOW, beast! I ran the half marathon in 1h40m last week and I was so proud of myself but this guy is just another level lol
I like seeing the heart rates as the run progresses. I’ve always wondered how my heart rate compared to others while running.
I have exactly the thought! however I'm confused how come his average HR was at max. Spiked to 190 since the starts? Woudn't lactic acide start kicking ?
@@Stalkilla no, this is normal. If I run a 5k I would reach 190 in 1km or at most 2km. You just get used with that lactic acide, it's a non stop pain a 10km race. My PB is 39 and it was very hard for me, I can't imagine anything under 35, but hey, I'm just an amateur runner with a special passion for ultras :)
@@DavidIancu I ... I don't race and don't run fast enough to have known that. Wow. This is making me think that maybe strength athletes like Strongman comeptitors would benefit from a typical regimen for 10k distance racers... cause they have to go for hours of competition with each event giving you intense pain efforts and lactic build up.
@@DavidIancu That's crazy. I myself hit around 180+ 1k into my 5k and 10k all out efforts, max hr being 192
Proof that you can be fast with heelstrike and with the body leant back (still, hip is perfectly open which is often not the case with that running form). Looks like 5:30 min/km pace in fast forward. Impressive heart rate, too. Had the same heart in my first life when I was a humming-bird.
You can't understand how insane this pace is if you never race for 10k. I was happy with 37:26 but I was almost dead at the 9k mark. So congratulations.
Wow..i only could make about 39 mins… yes, this dude is insanely fast…
I swear it looked like a sprint. No idea how this is possible. Respect.
Absolutely astounding, my PB’s are 17:49 for the 5k and 38:40 for the 10k
Are u ethiopean?
Wow...bravo! Cheers from Texas! Much love.
✌️✌️👍
omg, dude. you're such an inspiration! my record is 10KM in 43min52s. Dreaming 'bout sub 40'
🙏🙏👍
This is inspiring! As a new runner who is aiming for a Sub 30 5km, this is just fantastic!
Amazing and congratulations! I find it funny how they have the cross fit games to find the 'fittest on the planet'. Richard is what I call fit.
I argee with you wholeheartedly
I've never seen under 50 mins for 10k, 49 is ok for me:) Huge congrats, this pace is insane. (It should be worth for that incredible support coming from friends... what a great sense it should be... 29:40 )
Having the determination to maintain that pace is incredible under 6 min mile your body literally screams at you to stop
Well under 5 min/mile actually
about 4:50 ish @@calebshea5665
4 : 50
This is how a Video should be recommended. I totally got motivated.❤️💪💪💪
hells yes 🙌
That's my 5k best.
hahhahaha me
When I tried 5k for the first time it was 28 mins (30 y.o.), then I realized that can do it faster, and within a month reached 22:30. Now I'm 33 and can do 5k in 20 mins.
I was watching this and get excited for you, I hope I will reach this pace one day, GOOD JOB!!
thanks Momo . was wild
Your 10K is faster than the average 5k 😂👏👏
To be running that pace... around the people you care about... that must've been an awesome feeling

10km in 28 minutes. That is fast.
Man, this is amazing!! Great run!!
Congratulations from Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Waouh 🤩 what a run! You're amazing! Well done
I can never imagine myself doing that distance in under half an hour.
