The pond area sure is shaping up and Christian sure is growing up. If I were you I’d put a sheet of plywood or some roofing tin on some hinges on the front opening that you can swing up and open that way it will give you shade and you can easily close it up from the elements when not in use

Should be really comfortable ! The back wall should be black so there’s no silhouette for the game to see and a small countertop to hold your ammo and a bi-pod or rest for shooting would come in handy .

Beware of the barn Owls, they love those wood blinds, that's why I went to all metal, costly but well worth it.
