I was sexually abused at 11 years old. I am now 80 years old. I have never told ANYBODY about it. My mother died never knowing I had been abused. I blamed myself saying I had put myself in the position to have it done to me. I felt for those young girls.

The defense attorney is terrible. This is a child victim. The nerve of her. The aunt probably didn’t ask. Grandma didn’t say anything and she saw inappropriate hugging. Defense attorney had me heated.. she was over the top unnecessarily vicious with this VICTIM/witness. I just watched her cross of the ex-wife, and the attorney seemed intimidated, bc the ex was confident, standing her ground, pushing back.. yet attorney had no problem stomping all over the sister who was a CHILD for duration of manipulation, sexual abuse, and everything that happened to her sister at the hands of this predator.
Nauseating that upon surviving assaults and eventually speaking the truth, the reward is being verbally and emotionally assaulted by a lawyer in court.

No we dont speak up , we keep it forever sometimes, doesnt matter at what cost we keep it. some adults dont know how to handle these situations. when i finally told someone intrusted they turned it on me and said it was my fault cos i never spoke up and i mustve liked it since i stayed quiet. which in turn made me stay quiet about so many things becaose i felt ashamed that i "asked for it"

I pray that Defense Attorney doesn't have kids. She's sowing some horrible seeds to be reaped one day. People like her are why most of us carried our violations into adulthood because we didn't want to be talked to that way as if the violation was our fault or somehow ok because we waited "too long" to tell.
