I lived in Midtown Atlanta, and walking distance from Piedmont Park. The grocery stores you reference is located on one side of Midtown. There are another Wholes Food near Ponce area, and there’s a Publix’s on that side with better parking space. The Publix reference is near Tech and congested area and maybe misleading. Otherwise, good perspective. I did note no conversation referencing West Midtown area.

Thanks for your input. I didn't reference the other Publix as that is technically Poncey-Highland. The Whole Foods on Ponce is in Midtown - you are correct. My mind was thinking about the majority of the population in the high-rise condos so I guess I didn't mention that Whole Foods as it's further away. Didn't want to mention West Midtown as it's a different area and wanted to keep the convo as simple as possible. :) Thanks for watching!

You mentioned your kids… is living in Midtown do-able with kids? Do you have to send them to private school?

I know lots of families that live in Midtown! They are zoned to Virginia Highland Elementary (new school as of this year) and it is where my kids attend elementary school and personally I am very happy with the school! Middle school and High school are also ranked well and I know a mom who had their kid in the middle and high school programs and is fine with it. But some also may prefer private which is a smaller feel...just depends on your preference really!

I’m a veteran and would like to use the Va home loan.

Hi there. You can certainly do that. I believe just like FHA loans, you have to make sure that condo buildings are VA approved, so that would be the only caveat.

    😆 2008 - dated. I’m in a 1983 townhome. 🥴 (These countertops are quite awful!)

LOL...I can only imagine the 1983 countertops. Hopefully they are not original? It's crazy how fast things can become dated right? For example, Grey was the THING back in the 2010's.

With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, anticipate a boost in Midtown's prices next year, further spurred by escalating construction activity
