LaJon is the lead singer & the screams is actually the drummer Morgan. The two guitar players Clint & John do awesome backing vocals. Great group of guys & proud to call them my friends.
They have gone on record as saying Morgan Rose (the drummer) is their crow, and that is how they classify his vocals.
The lead singer is this awesome black dude with crazy dreads. Sevendust has been around forever. Always loved them. Keep up with the reactions I look forward to them every week

This is personally one of my favorite bands.. Lajons vocals never disappoint me..He is still killing it at 50! You guys should check out there videos when you can.

Was hoping to see another person mention Licking Cream. My favorite song of theirs and the added vocals of Skunk Anansie...just a beautiful sound.
Sevendust "Denial" is one you guys should check out...the official video is great.

More Sevendust PLEASE!! They're amazing! Licking Cream with Skunk Anansie's vocals is SOO good!! Also my top favorite song of theirs. Sorrow is another good song of theirs. A friend got me into their music back in 2007 and I've been a fan since. They are way too underrated and don't get enough attention from reactors. One of my old classmates/friend played with them on tour once when he was the drummer for a DFW area band called Overscene.
Had the pleasure of seeing sevendust live back in 97 at the OZ FEST you should check out their song DENIAL
Sevendust is an amazing band! I used to play this song whenever my ex would make me mad, I'd just go in my office and blast this song.
You should try Risen, Criminal, Ugly, Karma, The Wait (live in Denver), Decay, Follow, Not Original... so many great songs, they've never done a bad song. Never. Not even buried on the albums. N E V E R.

Lajon the lead singer has such a pure and soulful tone to his voice. The drummer Morgan does the angry vox. Such a hugely underrated band.
Angels son then Licking cream featuring skin from Skunk Anansie are 2 fantastic tracks to get into.

Sevendust are a grea band. Please if you will give Bad Omens :"The Grey" or, "No where to Run" a try. They're a amazingly talented band. NOAH( lead singer) has so many layers to his vocals and, the bands spot on with every single note.🔥🤟🔥🤟 I truly believe you both will like this band.
I seen them in concert and that is where I heard this song for the first time and yes it’s the same singer for both parts.

The drummer is screaming and growling. He plays and sings those parts at the same time.
In all the Sevendust song the singer does the singing and the guitarist in the drummer does all the screaming the drummer does most of it
Funny thing is the guy does both the voices i believe but live they switch it up and have someone do background vocale.
This artist might be one of the best technical singers in the Rock and Metal scenes....
You guys really should try and check out the song titled Black.
Or Denial or one of the most moving Rock songs i heard at the time called Angel's Son who was writen and recorded for one of there best friends and fellow muscision James Lynn Strait😢
Especially since it hit close to home for personal reasons.

When they keep messin up his head and doin the growl scream??? Baby, when we were listening to 80’s and 90’s hip hop/rap/ and rnb we never questioned what they were doing with they’re vocals. Sevendust has been around for a long duckin time (quack) and we need more appreciation for bands like this let alone the lead vocalist La John… tip your hats kids.. this is one of the best songs or bands you’ll ever listen to if you are into this kind of music. Don’t forget killswitch engage (Howard)… and Brushy One String….
