    Everyone who's telling him to move out. Uhm excuse me but this is an Asian thing/culture wherein sons/daughters don't need to move out unless they want to and the parents not asking them to. Usually you just move out when you get married or sometimes the son stay together with his family.
    Please respect it as it is not your culture, we know the fact that SOME western parents ask their kids to move out once they reach 18 or what, and we know that's your culture.

      Shey Garcia totally agree. Finding a job and decent housing at 18 is easier said than done. There are many young adults in the US that are struggling because they're parents kick them out while they're not prepared both financially and mentally.

      even in saudi arabia we have the same ritual or umm cultural habit?
      i'm 21 years old and have 4 more months to go before graduating, I always worry about whether they would allow me to move out or not of course after getting a job. but i think i can handle responsibilities by my own.

    She is definitely a hoarder. But she needs to stop making excuses, she should have just tell her husband and sons to help out around the house. She must have been nagging too much and being too perfectionist and end up being tired while not doing most chores. Most moms are like that, please don't do that, delegate the chores, if they are not being done as you like, it's ok if it's not perfect. That is most likely the reason a house got that messy, when chores are piled up and getting difficult to be completed.

  • @denali2412
    @denali2412 5 ปีที่แล้ว +170

    I wish they would find everyone’s feelings valid instead of just the mother’s.
    She is kind of blaming her family for her being a hoarder but it’s not their fault. She has absolutely no issue getting rid of her son’s things but when it comes to her stuff she finds every reason. I have no choice but to side with her son since my mother resembles his. And who cares that he’s thirty. His age is no justification for how she behaves. “He needs to move out anyway” or “Why does he still live with his mom at thirty” most of y’all probably haven’t experienced the difficulty of moving out so don’t judge him because of his age. I don’t like the fact that they made it seem like him not being in the mood to talk to his mother is something that’s childish. Everyone has bad days just give people space no matter how old they are. Plus thirty isn’t even that old lol.

    • @meltskee3867
      @meltskee3867 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Did you even watch the last part of the episode? She buys things to fill the loneliness she has. Her family telling her to clean up stuff only makes her feel worse and makes her hoard even more. She should have told her family of her depression, but telling someone your depressed isn’t that easy.

    • @AmanishaketoMeroe
      @AmanishaketoMeroe 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You see what you want not what they show. They never invalidate other feelings. When she was lying and blaming her son for everything they were all laughing cuz they knew she was at fault. They never said he can't be in a mood not wanting to talk to his mom, they only blame him for telling her she doesn't do shit since she's a stay at home mom! Besides they only point out the main reason she piles up things and refuses to let her things go is an emotional/psychological issue. You sound sour they don't jump to only shame her and victimize her son...how immature! How old are you?

If I leave anything outside it dissapears, trashed or someone takes it. I get very stressed.

    Poor guy!! Its so tiring to search for stuff. You have to live with such a maniac to understand! We have 50pairs of socks and they are almost all missing one of the two. As a student I can only put my textbooks etc on the floor as my mum took the all 22 shelves for herself. I have to shelve out 100dollars when i started working to buy expensive Toyogo boxes to be put on the floor as she refuses to let me buy a cupboard to place in my room. She throws away my things saying its used up when its not!!!! and threatened to throw my washing foam away saying theres a foul smell and it has expired. When i confronted her with the expiry date and made her smell it, she became confused. Its terrible. When i buy stuff for the family, she doesnt use them. Always saying she doesnt know what it is. I probably told her every 6 months but she always says she doesnt know. If it says black pepper on the bottle, why would she not know????

      Some moms are like friends, but most are difficult to deal with. You don't want to hurt their feeling, but at the same time, they make you upset. For your cheaper storage option, maybe you can use regular cardboard boxes, if you wrapped it with gift paper or wallpaper, they look really nice. Put them on top of your dresser, below your bed, or even stack them over each other. Just label them with category. What I did is I separate my personal belonging with my parents, if they put useless things in my room to be stored, I will clear them out once they forget (of course, think about the importance of the things first).

    • @littlemschat1052
      @littlemschat1052 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@imsunshine20 Your cheap cardboard option is brilliant! I agree that we as children do not want to hurt their feelings...but bad people grow into bad parents too.. Before handling it, you are driven insane by the amount of work and time to put in.

      Even though I am from Japan, I always felt alone in with my family since they never cared about me. But at here I am free.

    FROM BELGIUM
    hahaha, that makes me laugh ...
    I find myself there, my mother has a tendency to touch and move my things, and when I ask her where she has put her, she tells me she is not your case tidy up your stuff .....
    it's really annoying, because I have to waste my time looking for my things, that my mom has to put away I do not know or ????? !!!!!! :(
    my mom always forgets everything, by force I always ask her questions before she gets out of the house, of the kind, you took your bank card, (when she makes the races) I do not remember the number of times she or she is find at the checkout and had forgotten his bank card: (((, the worst is, it's bezel, she has at least 3, but never found at home ....
    hahaha, ça ma bien fais rire...
    je m'y suis retrouver, ma mère a tendance a toucher et déplacer mes affaires, et quand je lui demande ou elle l'ai a misse, elle me dit elle c'est pas ta cas ranger tes affaires.....
    c'est vraiament énervant, parce que je dois perdre mon temps a chercher mes affaires, que ma maman a ranger je ne sais ou?????!!!!!! :(

      Don't disrespect him because of that its honestly clear that the mother is full of bull shit like honestly she blamed the other family members just to get out of the situation and she lied about being depressed because she wanted the people to go on her side

      That's a egocentric statement. Asian family culture is different to western family culture. Also, yeah just leave your mother to drown in her own garbage...that's great...

    • @dearme5043
      @dearme5043 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In Asian, at least one son usually dont move out so he with his wife(the daughter is the one that move out to follow his husband) can take care their parents when they are old. We Asian always put important in respecting our elder, we rarely let our elder live alone :) please dont mix asian culture with westerner or wherever you come from.
