They should make Eunji a main cast on this show. She openly tells her opinion even if people think it’s mean or harsh. Unlike most idols that appear on this show, she’s not uncomfortable to say what she wants while other idols are uncomfortable and quiet about what they think.

that is also a perk of being older and being longer in the industry. she has a fixed fanbase with mature fans and her personality is quite known already. it's actually weird to call her idol anymore even if apink is still active. unlike younger idols who need to be painfully aware of what they say as their fans are more fickle and it could be seen as impertinent and rude (in short, hierarchy)
Daniel and Eunji were so refreshing this episode, it’s nice to see actual coherent advice being shared for once
I look at Wonyoung and get depressed. When i was 15 i was barely getting my shit together and looking like an emo kid while she looks like a whole grown up with that body and a winner of a survival show. What i had done wrong?

I am from Germany and it is true that teacher smoke together with the older students during break time. To be honest I can`t agree with that. As a teacher you should be a good role model. And it is only legal to smoke when you are 18, not 16!

The father in the third concern has a serious psychological problems , he's sadistic , look at the way he smile & laugh when he does such a harmful things , especially he do it to "women" not men , he almost break her back & her ribs , calling her with a bad words , I can't imagine how she feels , it must be so heartbreaking , he's making "bcz I love her" as an excuse because he never told her that he loves her , he enjoys hurting or torturing others/his family , I think he's sick & he need professional help & I love how wonyoung didn't laugh like others , even though she's the youngest she was so considerate & felt her struggling , she felt bad for her , I even like her more now .

Yeah totally. They invite fun people like idols onto the show, but in reality every person sitting on those seats sees the depth of the situation, even youngsters like Wonyoung (although granted, she’s pretty smart and has a stable head on her shoulders for a kid her age) The show has subjects that are far too serious and far more illegal and require much more help than putting it up to the job of of, primarily, idols, and a few comedians, no matter how badly they want to help. I feel it’s more the fault people who created the show, you can’t mix TV personal and problems that clash with the law, it puts pressure and strain on everyone and a lot of the time it never ends up resolved

I'm not fan of IZONE and never watch their mv or listen their song. But in this show I think they really do their best. I'm a bit shock when they said its their first variety because usually rookie idol will just listen and only give reaction. I love how they actively asked and share their experience. I will check them after this. I think I will stan them OMG

the sisters are bully, they let him look after their kids yet they dont appreciate it, taking their kids side when he scolded them, kids same way they dont respect their auncle...hate those sisters
they aren't really bully they are just concerned cause they are like his mothers didn't you saw that part and it's okay for them to worry as they were the one's who took care of him from his birth

I think I watch too many Videos I need subtitles for, because when Daniel talked in german in the beginning I was reading the english subtitles. Untill I realized that I'm german as well. I'm able to understand what he said and didn't realize that. I feel dumb now... xD

Of course because he is an employee in korea for several years before korean pd cast him for abnormal summit which leads him to a broadcaster till now...he still not a celebrity in korean as he has his own job as well there

Okay I hate how the first concern was dealt with. The more we got to know about the situation the sadder I got. I have a lump in my throat because imagining myself in his situation makes me feel trapped and powerless because you're literally hearing his sisters say they are being that way just because. And then it's turned into a laughing matter. It's not funny at all. He's broken inside, has now issues towards women because of trauma, and is feeling majorly insecure. And then we have everyone in the studio basically laughing at his concern. Way to make someone feel even shittier. I feel terrible for him. I would've really given a piece of mind if I were able to do so. I don't want to cuss but they're real bitches and the people there listening to his concern aren't any better or help either. I couldn't even laugh at any of the jokes. I'm here trying to hold back my tears and there you all are making fun of him and his situation. Disgusting.
I agree, but we been knew with shows like this. The hosts aren't real counselors but more comedics. It's an entertainment show after all, but that doesn't excuse the way they treat him :( I felt so bad when they were laughing about something and he was just sitting there like '...'
I think the saddest thing is that they know he feels bad but still continue to laugh at the problem. This happens a lot on this show. I always get the feeling that many concerns are ignored and definitely not dealt with properly...
Well to be fair it's pretty obvious that they have strong family values, and they do sincerely care for him. His mother died shortly after his birth and the sisters may have felt burden with the task to take better care of him because he won't grow up with a mother figure. Clearly they were still immature at the time and weren't the best for the job and it kind of stayed that way all throughout his lifetime, so it's kind of having a mean sister who's taking the position as your mother. They mean well, but in turn they did ruin him, so I do empathize for him, but I do see where his sister's are coming from and it's unfortunate they can't disassociate themselves from being the older sibling when trying to be motherly.
Okay, I made sure to watch the whole concern before responding to these comments - and I'm glad I did.
Look, maybe in the West it's the normal thing to do to just cut people off and be a general bitch to the people you feel who've wronged you, and trust me, I do agree that there are situations when those are appropriate responses - but the way these people talked to each other in the end (with respect and sounding like the message got across to each other) is how people, especially family, should be able to resolve their issues. Being on common ground and with dignity. The hosts shared to the sisters how they should balance themselves in their treatment of their brother, and that snooping on his phone is something they definitely shouldn't do. They also told the brother to carry himself better so his sisters won't look at him like a child. I fail to see what's wrong with how they ended up resolving the whole thing, because at the end of the day, while the sisters didn't necessarily come out and bawl about everything they did wrong, they at least seemed as if the message got across to them and will try to do better. Maybe if things get worse, then he can try more drastic measures - but the way you people sound is just toxic as hell and I hope you don't have kids to pass those kinds of values to. They *will* bite you in the ass.
And guess what, a lot of people come out of this show actually feeling like it helped them. Just because you don't understand it from your cultural bubble doesn't mean it doesn't work. It's not a perfect system, and they aren't always going to get it right, but getting it right most of the time is better than not helping anybody at all.
Yes, there were times when the hosts made light of some of the situations - but that's the balancing act, to keep the show entertaining whilst also giving sound advice. And come on, are we really going to pretend that some of the things they shared weren't absurd? If everyone just kept themselves grave about the whole thing, nothing would get fixed because everyone would just be too bummed out to be in a resolutional mindset.

Spoken like a true Westerner. People keep wondering why people are becoming so unhappy and yet fail to acknowledge that their values have gone down the shitter. You hate that the hosts "trivialized" the whole thing and yet you trivialize their culture as a whole - that's just hypocrisy. Running away/shutting out your problems =/= fixing them.

The 3rd concern ... that dad needs some serious professional help, I guess he has a problem with expressing feelings in a way that doesn't hurt others. I don't think he means any harm, but he needs to stop that before he breaks apart his family. His wife and younger daughter already won't speak to him, that's very concerning.

Ok so I personally think that the 3rd concern has a lot more to it. It sounded like abuse to me, the more they discussed. I think the dad likes the attention, and also likes teasing them physically. You dont pull down your wifes pants infront of your children and then laugh.

OMG, the case of the father, was a very grave one, this man excuses his behavior saying "it's beacause I love you", her daughter had injuries, nose bleeding, I think she said broken bones, it's a big thing!, and people said "it's not a concern", what?! I can understand his fears and his sadness, but, c'mon, when a guy hits a girl we called this "violence", and can not be called a "cultural way to show love". I think he has to take some exams (psycologych and neurologych) his conduct is preocupant.
Gladly watched it 'coz I've seen IZ*ONE but got me frustrated at the end. Love is never an excuse to cause violence. It's never an expression of love. His acts really calls for a professional help.
