Sopranos has the greatest music of any show, ever IMO. One of my favourite musical moments in the show's history is the end of season..two? One? Where Tony's surveying his family and friends, smoking a cigar, enjoying life, and we get a panoramic view of their world while Thru and Thru by the Stones plays. That Stones song... I remember hearing it ages ago and not realising how great it was. Until I heard it on The Sopranos. The Sopranos turned me on to so many phenomenal pieces of music by artists I would normally never bother with(not the Stones, I love the Stones). The choices were often so leftfield and odd I'd immediately go on Tunefind to track down what it was as soon as the episode ended.
David Chase who created the Sopranos originally had wanted to be a musician and had played in bands before getting into television and show writing. The guy is a music fanatic and a large part of why the show had such amazing cuts.
Kaisha (Ky-eesha) was what Christopher named his fictional girlfriend. He was lying to Tony about his new comare, Julianna, and the lie (and Tony's growing disdain for Chris) is part of the focus of this episode as it leads into the finale.
Tony REALLY wanted to give Vito a pass because he's been learning about flaws and not to judge as harshly through his therapy. So Atlantic City was floating the idea to the other guys to see if they'd go along with it....because ALSO, Vito was easily his biggest earner and Tony wants that money above almost anything else. So a bit of both.

I was hoping someone would notice that. Phil definitely had some issues he wasn't admitting to. The way he gripped his thighs while watching Vito getting beaten. Just the general hard-on he had for hating gays...he was way too emotional about it, like he was overcompensating.
@@thesprawl2361Exactly... From what Tony said to Dr. Melfi, even if Phil had had 'friends in jail', that got overlooked, so it shouldn't've been too much of a concern to him, but the look Vito gave Phil after his boys taped his mouth, I wouldn't be surprized if there was more going on that Phil didn't want said in front of others... 👍👍👍👍 PS Also, there's a bathroom door in the back, so Phil could've waited in the bathroom if he hadn't wanted to be seen immediately; I'm guessing the writers were going for the symbology of where he was seen emerging 👍👍👍👍

Those people held a perception of him that he was dumb based on his words, not his actions. He easily manipulated them, knowing perception is a big thing in that life. Interesting thing to point out about Adrianna's appearance in Carmela's dream. Her dog is named Cosette which is a character from the musical, Les Miserables, that is loosely based on the early stages of the French Revolution. Carmela was in France. I don't think that connection was intentional but it's cool nonetheless.
