In Summer of 2019, I went on a two month solo backpacking trip around Europe, and vlogged every day. With the current state of the world, I finally have the time to edit the vlogs, and am SO excited to share this journey with you all! Definitely wishing I was still living this right now. LuciaTepperBeauty maybe an odd question but your curls looked so great, when I was in Athens, my hair was suffering because of the water, what did you do to maintain your hair?
Thank you! I did very little while traveling to be honest- I washed my hair every few days and put gel in it to keep the curls. Very minimal hair routine (not that I do that much in general anyway), but I went for gel instead of mouse for my trip.

I loved watching your blog, especially as we can't travel now and most of us are Sheltered in Place. :(. I have never been to Santorini, but have been to Athens and loved it. I think Athens is underrated.

Which city in Europe would you recommend for a first solo holiday? I want to go somewhere for a week but I really can't decide where. I'd love somewhere that's not far from a town but also has plenty of nature/hiking places.
Madrid is a lovely place for hikes near by while also being in a city, with tons of parks. I’m biased though because I live there due to my immense love for the city :). I loved my island solo trips I did, especially Hvar in Croatia. No hiking but you’re outside the whole time, it’s a beach party place. Germany has great hikes, anywhere near the Black Forest. What did you do with your phone when you went swimming? I have wanted to solo travel to beach locations and haven't figured this out.
Locks are a MUST when solo traveling. For those beach scenes on the chairs specifically, one of the days I made friends and asked them to watch my bag, but both times I locked my bag (where my phone was) and then hid my bag under my towel. It’s all about your level of trusting the situation and where you are. Since I was sitting on those fancy chairs, I knew no one would take things. When I was on the beach with Davita, we locked our bags and stayed within eye sight of them. When I solo traveled in Israel, I looked for the most trustworthy looking person around me and asked him to watch my stuff while I swam. Being aware of your surroundings and feeling out the situation with your best judgement is always your best bet. Never leave your stuff if you feel at all like there is a safety risk. Hope that helps!

Little fact:The Parthenon isn't as perserved as the temple of Hephaestus bc some centuries ago (i think around 1687) it was bombared by Francesco Morosoni while Greece was under turkish occupation,hence why it has a lot of damage!Hope you enjoyed your stay and hope you had enough sunscreen lmao
