Im a 70 year old woman, from Canada. In late April, early May I plan to start my backpacking trip to europe so this was helpful. thank you. Alright Phyllis, speaking in general terms, investing requires a good amount of knowledge. That's why it's essential to have a solid support system like a financial counselor, especially when picking out assets. I've been working with Regina Louise Collaro, who is an investment advisor at a registered wealth management company. I can't recommend her enough; my financial journey has been fantastic thanks to her. She's quite well-known for her services, and she helped me achieve financial stability through investments. Now, I benefit from her passive income strategies every month. So, I'd strongly suggest finding a reliable investment advisor for yourself..
Regina Louise Collaro is based in the United States and can work with anybody wherever they stay.. If you would like more information on reaching her, you can conduct a search online.

this is exactly the video I needed! Can you make a video on how to budget appropriately and do a breakdown of the costs? I’m currently looking to backpack Europe with a friend for a month and we’ve been struggling with finding ways to make it affordable so far !
Family of three going to Scotland in England in July is going to be $10,000 for two weeks. That doesn’t include the train ticket and Rent-A-Car. For Airbnb’s and one hotel.
Awesome vid! I was recently in France and I actually also have Verizon. I just went to FNAC (there is a location by Champs Elysees) and got a SIM and it worked perfectly fine with my phone. I have an iphone 13. So i'm not sure if that makes a difference or not since I know now there is like "eSIM" versus the actual physical SIM card. But the plan I got was $30 for the whole month, 5G all over France and 4G in the rest of the EU!
2500 A MONTH!? I went backpacking in Germany for 2 weeks and spent a total of 300. Now, I must say, I was very aware of the money that I was spending, and didn't go on excursions or anything, but I had a blast! Just thinking about having 600/week when backpacking makes me jealous. Hmm, maybe I should mention that I'm a student and my whole life consists of living on a budget :)
I am planning on doing that too. I plan to go until mid Jan. Do you know anything about the new visa system and it is going to work with traveling throughout Europe. For example If I am already in Europe before the new rules take effect on New Years how would that effect my traveling.
My buddy and I are taking a similar trip to Western Europe at the end of the year and have been doing research for months on how to do it properly, and this is by FAR the most helpful video I’ve come across for the type of travel we’re trying to do, so thank you!!
Hey Bailey. Awesome video!! Keen to get out to Europe next year and had some questions. Im Aussie but can you share a little about the VISA for people planning on staying longer than 90 days. As well as a better insight for apps and tips for finding work in Europe that will provide food and accomodation in exchange Cheers
I unfortunately know nothing about the visa process bc I was never in the Schengen zone longer than 90 days. I went through Worldpackers for volunteer work!
Loved most of the tips, except the “are you just checking these boxes off” some of us can’t work remote and with limited time off, enjoying as many different cultures and countries as you can is an ideal approach !
I completely understand that- I was talking about it more in the context of people I met backpacking who spent one night in each city which honestly seems like a waste to me because you don’t actually get to experience the place you are going to
Girl, I don't know who does your subtitles, but they are are often wrong...Especially when you're talking about names/brands it is especially helpful when at least the names are right, so people can look it up. Hostile environment = Hostel environment (which is not hostile at all!!) Flex bus = Flixbus Oatmeal = Omio Trans systems = tram systems Off spray bag = Osprey bag P.S. Europe actually IS great for just a carry-on suitcase. Especially since most of you will visit cities. Even when hiking, those are mostly day hikes, so you leave your stuff at the hostel and take just a small day pack. We have good pavement everywhere and amazing public transport! And yes, most hostels might not have a locker big enough, with a lock-with-cable you can just lock the suitcase onto your bed. Theft in hostels is really rare, we're all there with the same mindset. I've been traveling around Europe like that for over 10 years. I guess it's just personal; you want to roll your stuff easily or carry it all on your back?
P.P.S. I'm now backpacking through all of Central and South America for 8 months with a 40 liter backpack and a 22 liter front pack, hauling it to tropical islands, small and big cities, mountain villages and beach get-aways, but even here a carry-on would have done the trick.

Just something to keep in mind for budgeting because I was shook.
It definitely depends on the cities you’re in too! If you’re going to any capital city 50€ is unfortunately pretty normal- I remember I hated having to book those nights bc it felt like so much
