- I give you my thoughts on what it's like to drive a 1000+ HP Hellion Twin Turbo mustang on a daily basis after 6 months. I give you both the good and the bad of driving this beast and if I recommend doing this yourself.

I feel your fuel pain especially when I live in California, double whammy when I change the oil and fill up my diesel truck, I believe it takes something like 15 quarts of oil, great video 👍😁

That's a great review, with a car like this is like you said is very good and some bad things to consider have a daily
driver with a car with insane H.P. and as you know you must pay to play(as per fuel costs) have a monster of a car
will cost a fortune to daily drive but has to be a blast. This is a another great one bud.

I have ferrada fr3 on my single turbo mustang The rims are staggered 305 in the back I fix the rubbing problem with a set of SR performance coilovers , The 16 damping settings is perfect for your set up, from American muscle
Way back in high school (86) I got a svo Mustang. 4 banger turbo, similar power to the GT of the day, but the wastegate was adjusted to 18psi. Stock was about 13psi. I got really good at driving that car. Similar to a 2 stroke dirt bike. I would love to go turbos on my 16, but it’s a 3.73 car.

Hey racer x I'm glad to hear that that mustang is turn it out to be a great car I know how you feel about that car I have one myself I don't have the turbos that probably will be later on oh and as far as the fuel I don't really have that to worry about I don't daily my car maybe this is something that you should think about I don't daily my car for a lot of different reasons my job I deliver food and I don't want to put those type of miles on that Ford so my Ford is for the weekend and on the weekend I don't really put a lot of miles on it I don't tear up the car I just have fun and I was doing this before the fuel prices went up my daily is an old Toyota just a little food for thought 🤔

I have a 2019 stock GT. I love it and don't drive it very hard, but I like to redline it occasionally but struggle with the rev hang. Do you have any tips with shifting the manual at the 6k+ rpm?
I'm looking to do Lethal Performance's Hellion twin turbo kit in the next month or so, this makes me super excited for it!

I’m running Weld S71 on a MT ET Street SS 305/45/17. They hook decent on the street from a roll on my 950whp 19’ GT. You could always run the SS on the street and the R at the track. I feel your pain with E85.. my car averages 8 mpg!

in the Words of the Creepy Little Girl Sniffer "Come ON Man" You Need to TUB the back end... I have a 2021 with the Twin T-Bo and did just that!!! No more Wheel Spin and I love it~
The car does well with the bigs on the back.. the street tires are the issue unfortunately

This is the kind of car I would absolutely love to drive, but would be too afraid to put the money into building out of fear that I wouldnt like the result enough to justify the cost. My cowardice will keep me from ever having something this fun haha. Sick ride.
Dude my 2019 Mustang GT 5.0 coyote was most horsepower of a stock car off a dealership lot..460whp.. If I can do it you can too! Be brave! Be bold! Just drive a car like this see how it behaves..gradually get on the throttle let off..so on..Do Not Turn Off traction Control!! until you are more experienced!!

Raise the suspension up in the back would help with squat on pulls to also the channel would do better if you did street pulls blur out the street signs and stuff watch for cops n what not but gotta do street content for people to get into it good luck tho brother been here for probably about a year and change your awesome love to watch and hear the news and your take on everything
What size wheel & tire r you running Racer? I have a 2020 s550 and with the right wheel size and offset on stock springs, at least for now, I can fit 285’s up front and 305’s in the rear on 19’s with no rub what-so ever. Maybe the offset is off on the wheels you really want to run.
Mine are 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the back with 305's. The offset in the rear is 40 and they said it should fit but it definitely doesn't.
The Mustangs have had their highs and lows over the years and the S550 is definitely one of it’s supreme highs. Oh gotta get one dig on you…Magnadrone! I like the Borla system I know you said the Magnaflows spec out best with this turbo setup. Sound wise Magnaflow is always going to be nasty loud with drone.
IMO Magnaflow have the best sound but the drone sucks! Borlas and Corsa are just obnoxiously loud.
@@juniordiaz6445 I don’t know what you are talking about. My Borla are only loud when I am accelerating and are quieter than factory when cruising at speed which is what I like and is what they advertise no drone guarantee. I think you have never owned either Borla or Corsa
@@erikfritts8240 Everyone and their mom has a borla or corsa because they’re loud. I did like the no drone technology tho. Other than that, they sound like someone is playing a trumpet right by your ear.
What mount did you use for the boost controller??
You should switch to motorcraft 5w-50 synthetic and save some money on oil if u change it that frequent

That is a bummber on the wheels. Car looks good. I just bought a Mustang Gt Black like this 1. No turbos. I think I would be more interested with a super charger
Just curious.. How many miles do you have on this car?
Aside from Mechanic costs what does it cost to do the twin turbo and inter cooler set up? Could we do this with the active exhaust or would the exhaust upgrade be required?
it’s probably too late but it’s gonna run you like 6k to get everything and make it reliable. and the exhaust will need an upgrade. but you can get active exhaust to open and close and be quiet or rowdy.
any problems with rain?
How does daily driving a 1000hp Mustang compare with a 1000hp Tesla? power, performance, ease of use, comfort, luxury, reliability, maintenance, repairs?
@racerx who does work for you?....looking for a reputable place in the area.
What type of rpm break boosting do you need to do on a dig to maximize your launch?
The car likes to leave at 6k rpm and unfortunately brake boosting does very little to achieve those types of RPM's .. it really just serves to fade the brakes with little to no increase performance. Ideally anti lag is the way to go

Ever have any problems when driving in the rain?
Get your fenders rolled...or flaired. Its pretty common an inexpensive so the wheels will fit
Unfortunately it wasn't rubbing the fenders. The wheels simply stuck out too far and the car came down on the tires.. I think the offset was off personally. They should not have stuck out 1.5 inches from the outer body panel.

If you can afford a TT kit/Forced induction, you can afford a $100+ oil change.
For my 2016 GT, I'm looking at a $60 oil change doing it myself.
I took it one step farther and put a sleeper kit on a manual convertible. Mine has a 62's and minimum lag. I run 14 psi on E85.

I got a set of ferradas for my 2020. I immediately dropped them off to be ceramic coated. Now I'm thinking I'm an idiot and should have test fitted them first. Do you know the specs on yours by any chance? I bought the cm2's. Front 20x9 +25 and rear 20x10.5 +40

The website I went through said they will fit flush. I even called ferrada and they comfirmed. I should be mounting mine in the next week or 2. When I do I'll come back and update you.

You can’t just hold the left paddle and it goes into the right gear much like the hellcat? Good video man every platform has its issues.
for sure buddy.. the only issue that I have when holding the paddle is that it doesn't put it high enough in the RPM band for the turbos to be efficient
@@RacerX9 Oh man that sucks. I wonder if it’s set for factory in the computer and or trans potentially tune able or if it’s mechanically set in the trans itself. I’m sure they raised your rev limit then tuned it for that under boost. Maybe something to look at with your tuner because this would be tits for roll racing or even on the street use. The way I see it is the tech exists on the vehicle prior although you drag race so may not even be worth the money or time in your situation. Would be an interesting video and a good unique one that I’ve never scene, that’s for sure. I figured you had already checked it and knew about the button to drop and hold rpm but had to mention it. Anyways respect to you brother! Great content and love the videos, cars coming along great and so is your channel.

probably about 100-150hp less on the higher boost. The would not like alot of boost on 93..
