The Mustang has gotten better and better over the years. Stephanie from American Muscle has proven that even further with her Twin Turbo 2017 Mustang GT pushing 700+ horsepower with just ten pounds of boost on a stock internals engine. This is by far the hardest hitting boosted Coyote car I've ever driven with it's 55 mm turbos spooling so far I didn't expect it. That’s the racing game my dude not a lot of transmissions can take that torque and seeing a performance trans is 9k and a new stock trans with a clutch kit is about 2200 it’s much cheaper to just keep swapping

quarawlis stafford that's good to know buddy.. BUT.. their Honda's out there that jus by putting a simple turbo kit an have a (06-11 Si) stock k20 will do 10s sec with no problem an most only on 8 to 12psi.. all the hp an she's doing 11s

The Dutch Texan I understand the new technology w/ the coyote. But the block on the 4.6 are very strong and well build 2V, 3V, 4V will make very good power and nothing beats a sound of the 4.6! .....My opinion of course.

Steph made a great point around the 4-min mark. Above a certain power level on the street (with a RWD layout), you need to be on a drag radial with some sidewall just to keep it under control. #beenthere

Entirely depends what you want out of it and what you're willing to put into it. I prefer a supercharger like a VMP gen 3 but turbos will give you a better peak horsepower number if you like looking at a graph all day.

Love the car! I've had a couple older Mustang 5.0's and they were fast and I love them. But. I just bought a '18 eco-boost. I was really anxious about it but I have to say, so far I love it! No it doesn't have that 5.0 Flowmaster beautiful notes but that's ok. I wanted affordable, gas mileage and cheap on insurance. I got all three without being in a fuckin ricer honda. And it's got some power! And for not a whole lot more I can be over 400 hp. That's all I want. I had the two 5.0's and I love the power but I don't race anymore I don't need 800 hp to go to the store. Occasional stoplight to stoplight pulls around town. I've had a couple people say they blow head gaskets and stuff like that but I don't think that'll be a problem and every muscle car or over 300 hp cars they have their weak links but that's why I bought it, cause I CAN AFFORD to mod it LOL! And fix those problems before they happen. I'm very happy with what I got for the money! And the money I'm saving.

blackonefifty yea i looked it up hadnt watched it. It was combination of higher rpm launch and wheel hop that broke the drive shaft honestly thats really luckg surprised the diff or trans didnt get fucked up.
