Exercise psychology is so strange. I often see these cardio workouts and think, "I need something tougher today" and go for a step and strength or something like that. Then other days I don't feel like working out at all, and I remember there are some low impact cardio classes saved, and they are perfect. And the final brain trick is that those cardio classes always wind up kicking my butt way harder than I think they will!! Fourthly, I never learn, and I go through these mental gymnastics picking classes every single week, always being surprised that you somehow know the perfect blend of high and low, and what all our bodies need -- variation. I used to be jealous of celebrities who could afford personal trainers but now I have one too!

Hey Chris. Great workout. I think it was Jackie who mentioned (on live) that she did low impact due to knee issues and was sweating buckets. Thanks Jackie - my comment exactly. Trying to preserve my knee for Saturday step (which I will do on Sunday). This was a lot of fun and the low impact version is perfect for us aging and creaking folks! Still sweat, still move, and still have fun. Thanks Chris for all your classes! Anyone can find SOMETHING that works for them. 🇨🇦💕

That was fun! I am defiantly a strength queen vs cardio queen. And normally I would pick burpees all day long over jumping jacks, so this was challenging but enjoyable. Fun story: I was 21 and pregnant in 09/1991, and my first concert at First Ave in Minneapolis was Alice in Chains on a Tuesday and I had my son on Friday the same week :-)
