Made this with fresh udon, substituting white vinegar for apple cider vinegar and sugar for honey, minus the the gochugaru (improvised with what I had). Loved the overall flavor. Do you happen to have recommendations for any kind of protein+veggies that I could add to the dish?
It's amazing with silken tofu or baked/fried cubes of firm tofu 😊 You can make a topping of "ground beef" with firm tofu as well 😊 Not to mention adding peanuts (roasted at the end, or just letting them soak in sauce).

ILUVSPARKLEZ! Yes this gochujang brand has alcohol in it. I believe they use it to make it last longer, so it isn't toxic and you cannot taste it. You are free to use it unless you are allergic to alcohol!
@@iluvsparklez yes there is no problem, even if you're 12! It's a very small amount of alcohol. As long as you are not allergic then you can eat it. I have made these gochujang noodles for kids around your age, and they all love it!

tsp soy sauce
tbsp vinegar
tsp honey
tbsp water
4 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp oil
2 tsp of sesame oil
