    Depends on how you use the past papers. For example,, If you start revising the day before and exam You can do a past paper to understand how you would apply the knowledge you have of a certain chapter. Or when you're blocked on a question go to a youtube video that explains that specific topic. This really helped me. Plus doing a past papers basically identifies your weak spots. Hope it helps others! Anyways thank you, you were very helpful.

      I agree 100%! They are such useful resources when used correctly. The main point i was making was just to cover if people struggle with confidence.
      Thank you for the message, really appreciate it and glad i could help!

    All nighters for GCSE science papers, especially bio and Chem worked great for me to soak up all the info and keep it fresh in my brain. The sheer force of stress and excitement kept me going until the exams finished, then I collapsed

    yh bro i messed up i didnt work hard enough and now i messed up, how would i go from a 4 to 7 in gcse maths in 1 week?

    • @brainstormmath
      @brainstormmath  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Honestly, your best bet is lots of past papers if you haven’t done any yet, but once you do them, check mark schemes and go back through the papers thoroughly to make sure you know what you should have said.
      From there, any topics you aren’t sure, go to TH-cam (or my channel!) and find videos based on the topics, a 7 usually requires just over 50% in exams so I believe you can do it! Good luck and hope this helps

    • @azza6463
      @azza6463 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@brainstormmath You do not have enough time to go through past exam papers properly now, if your going to then go through them WITH the mark scheme (not at the end). Another great way is getting together with a few friends and just bouncing questions of each other, I do this with a group of 2-5 people and it is great.
      EDIT: If your going through past papers just SKIP questions that your confident with, no point revising what you know, only look at what you DONT!

    • @wk1215
      @wk1215 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      go to the back of the paper questions and do the last 5-10 questions of as many past papers as u can and then revise watch videos on the topics you are least confident with
