- India: Building Collapse in Lucknow Kills At Least 8, 28 Left Injured
At least eight people were killed and 28 others were injured after a three-storey building, used as a storage facility for a pharmaceutical business and a motor garage, collapsed in the north Indian city of Lucknow. The building, known as the Harmilap Building, was undergoing construction work during the incident. According to reports, a worker reported a crack in one of the pillars of the building before the collapse. Rescue operations involving the NDRF and SDRF teams are underway. Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered an investigation into the incident and acceleration of relief efforts. Watch our video to know more about this story.
