He wants to buy cheap we have seen this so many times. The most significant lesson I gained from the stock market in 2023 is that uncertainty prevails, emphasizing the importance of humility. Adhering to a long-term strategy with a competitive edge is key, If Buffett can wait so can you.

Certainty eludes everyone; thus, it's vital to establish your own methodology, handle risk, and adhere to your strategy unwaveringly. This commitment should endure challenges and successes, all while maintaining a commitment to ongoing learning and improvement.

Embracing uncertainty, I realized after five years that attempting to predict market outcomes through chart analysis was futile due to the unpredictable nature. My lack of a mentor led to six years of struggle. I transitioned to following the market's direction and adopting a straightforward, disciplined approach.

Sophia Maurine Lanting is the analyst that helps me. She has a large following and is easily found online. Investing with her has been a different ball game entirely so different from the stale methods of managers I’ve worked with in the past. last year was my best ever because I'm over 1m which I really never thought I could reach at the start of the year.

I know everyone is saying stocks are at a discount and all but just how long will It take to recover or am I better off putting my money elsewhere. I need a lot as rent, inflation alone eat up almost all of what I make with dependents and other obligations included. Tbh it's an uncertain year for me.

Every crash/collapse brings with it an equivalent market chance if you are very well informed and equipped. I've seen folks amass up to $800K amid crisis, and even pull it off easily in an unfavorable economy. Unequivocally, the bubble/collapse is getting somebody somewhere rich.

waiting for a dip will erode your capital both due to inflation and lost opportunities…stay invested in a broad based low-cost index ETF like IVV or VOO or SPY. Keep 10-15% in cash and buy when there is a serious correction. We only had 2 down days - 4/19 and 8/5 so far this year. Don’t spend money on financial advisors or actively managed funds - neither beat the market in the long run. Keep it simple - 3 ETFs are all you need - VV (65%), VB (10%) and VO (10%). Rest in Money markets. Stay away from Fixed income and interest rate cut/hike drama.

I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience. Reason I decided to work closely with an brokerage-adviser ever since the market got really tensed and the pressure became so much(I should be retiring in 17months) so I've had an brokerage-adviser guide me through the chaos, its been 9months and counting and I've made approx. 650K net from all of my holdings.
