Q: Do you plan before, during, or after the week?
A: It varies from video to video, but typically I plan 2-3 times during the week and stitch the clips together. I rarely plan the entire week in advance or the entire week retroactively.
Q: Do you use all of these planners?
A: Yes and no. Every week, there is something in my life that takes priority over the others whether it be school, work, or something personal. Depending on the week, I select a few planners that will help me achieve my tasks! So not every planner is used every week.
Q: How do you get so much done in a day?
A: If you watch any of my journaling vlogs, you’ll realize that I have very poor sleeping habits and so naturally I’m able to fit more things into the day. It’s something I’m trying to fix but admittedly this is the only reason. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I do prefer my stickers to reflect how I look. I see so little of myself in the world, so it’s nice to have that touch in my planner.

I don't care about how people in stickers and stuff look like. I like more diversity as it creates a lot more visual interest than the same person over and over. I also don't particularly care if the character looks like me or not, but i know that it may be important for some people so it's always good to have multiple options
Oh yes yes yes absolutely!!! Diversity is super important. I realized my question might be misinterpreted now 😅 I was moreso talking about personally purchasing stickers that don't look like me haha
I want girl/doll stickers to look like me. Sometimes I like when a creator makes girls in different skin tones so I can have stickers that resemble my friends, too! I would rather by a black & white sketch drawing (no color) than buy stickers with characters that don’t look like me. My friend who has a daughter with red hair talks a lot about the challenges she has with finding items for her daughter that match what she looks like; I mention that to say that I think for the people who it matters to, it matters a lot.
My “outside coffee” ritual involves going for a long walk on Sunday morning and getting a cup of coffee on my way back then watching your video upload. I look forward to this every week! It’s okay to do something nice for yourself every once and a while. You work so hard. You deserve to be nice to yourself. ❤

I actually do care that people stickers look at least a little like me. That’s why TCMC stickers work well for me because they don’t necessarily look like any particular person. Just human

i like diversity in people stickers because (a) representation and (b) visually more appealing to me.
i tend to buy moreso character stickers (e.g. chibis, fandom stuff, bears, etc)and those are obviously not meant to look like me.
people stickers are rarely used in my planner or journal. however, if i were to use or buy them, it def would need to look like me or have some characteristics. also, i like journaling about my fam and friends so if i'm using people stickers, it needs to look like them. i suppose this is moreso about whether you think of the stickers as pure decoration or more?
Helen, you are an amazing business woman -and you deserve a vacay! And, also, I just yesterday was watching the Barbie movie 🎥 (at home 🏡 ) and of course -I feel asleep in the middle of it! My daughter did not wake me up! Fortunately I bought the movie rather than just rent on Amazon Prime! My daydream vacation is going some where south of France or Italy 🇫🇷and rent a house for a month🏡 and play tennis, go to the market and cook everyday, take cooking lessons ! and just just relax (impossible but I like to daydream about it!)
The color gel pen looks so cute!! I use gel pens for every month of the year to make my planner look as cute as possible and I haven't seen (or read!) A Haunting in Venice yet, but I'm planning to soon

Honestly, we need to normalise scheduling breaks, downtime and self-care. Hustle culture and capitalist pressure around productivity are everywhere and even if you are "100% abled and healthy" (which most people are not) it can get to you. And I love that the down days washi is colourful. I only use monochrome or greyscale decorations in my planner/journal when I'm super happy, because otherwise I feel it brings my mood down even more.
It doesn't matter to me whether or not a shop's character resembles me or not. I guess because I don't think of the sticker as representing me, but as a decoration in my planner.
The sneak peeks were exciting. The hard part will be choosing which "2024" to buy. (And not spending too much money on washi) Tea 2.0 is my favorite, but I think the pumpkin patch will be the one I use first.
I need to bake some things to prepare myself for November. I bake lots of pie for Thanksgiving. (Piegiving) 😂

Cozy planning, as always. My favourite coloured gel pens are the jelly rolls and the papermate ink joys.
If I have a choice, I usually buy characters that look like me, but when I plan I usually try to match the character to my spread
(.i.e. I try to match the hair or shirt of the character to the color theme of the week)

Hello from VA. Yes, I would love to see a sticker character that looks like me.
I prefer stickers with characters, like the emotis, but when it is with people, I tend to go for the standard. Though sometimes another colour catches my attention.
What’s the standard?
@@comeoninmycoop for me, whatever the original colour from the character is. Usually, the character has one colour and then, they add more with time.

Thanks for the idea with coloured gel pens. I've collected a huge stash of coloured pens and not sure what to make of these. The idea of using it on vertical activity tracking on weekly spread is brilliant. I can use for colour-coded for personal and work. Also, since I have common planner as well, one of my biggest concern is what to make of daily spreads as it might be redundant. I've been using Stalogy for daily musings and brain dump as separate from weekly spread. But I guess, maybe I can combine both for 2024 and see how it goes if I still need Stalogy for memory keeping as well.

I have short hair, but girl stickers always have long hair. I buy various hair and skin colours. When I draw my own, they do have short hair.

I don't use any black in my bullet journal. So I have a wide variety of coloured gel pens I use there. I only use black in my 'thoughts & feelings' journal.

I prefer for my character stickers to look like me, and as a black woman it’s very hard to find in the mainstream market. If I want black character stickers I mostly have to buy from Etsy and mostly black sticker designers. I would love to be able to purchase mainstream/popular stickers but they forget that people of color exists. I have not been able to find PET tape anywhere with black or POC stickers. BTW, I love the green gel pen in this weekly spread.
I love hearing about the washi creation process. Thank you for sharing that with us. For me, it's rare to find curly-haired emotis with long, dark hair. I generally would prefer my sticker match me, if they are available. I'm curious about your french practice. for the dolls stickers, i usually get the girls with red or orange hair eventhough i've never colored my black hair. i'm thinking if i'll ever dye my hair, that's what i'd love to have

Do you plan in the weekly section using the built in hours, ie 3pm is your lunch, work starts again at 6pm, etc; or do you just know that things will be done more generally morning, afternoon, evening etc. I'm sorry if this has been asked before! Also where can I order those monthly tabs?

the stickers are in her second to last most recent post on instagram. They are in the top of the photo. Everything will be released next Friday, September 22, 2023 at 12 pm PST. :)

Please don't feel bad about scheduling your lunch break. I do the same on my shared work calendar. Partly it's because then my computer will remind me to stop working to eat in 15 minutes. Partly it's because then my colleagues would not schedule any meetings during my lunch break.
