    I’m about to get my crank hub done and Pure Stage 2+ turbos installed. Fuel was my next concern. I’ll definitely have to look at this upgrade. 👍

      Absolutely yes.. fuel will be your next limiter. Also consider S65 injectors while you are there.

    How do you set the timing of the cam inside the unit? Is there a way to orient it properly via the front access hole only? I.e. while the intake manifold and everything else is still on? Asking because I'm doing a crank hub and accidentally turned the pump drive chain after releasing the crank bolt. Mind you I also didn't consider any of this until after the gear for the hpfp assembly was already off

      @@TheFaceslap sorry friend, that is far more complicated than I can assist with, especially if that chain moved.

    Hi, have a question and really hope you can help me out. Currently have a hybrid turbos set up on the car, made around 580whp (650crank) on straight pump gas in the UK. I want to know if doing port injection alone will help me flow more fuel and make more power on pump gas (99ron) without having to upgrade the fuel pumps and injectors.
    Thanks!

    I have a n55 on pure750 Dorch stage 2 hpfp would the install be similar?

    • @BMWDIYGuy
      @BMWDIYGuy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @FakeM2xx no, it is significantly different on the S55, and is a detailed install.

    This might be a stupid question but what's the difference between this and fuel it hpfp?

      Similar upgrade, I haven't compared the two units for differences, though.

    Hey! I’m also local in WA, did you get this installed at Ivan’s shop? Looks familiar! Or Mashimarho! I also own an M3 and I’m in the process of installing my flex fuel kit and just got Bootmod3 (switching from MHD) next up is turbos and the Dorch HPFP! Which EU5 injectors did you get? Is it the one that’s off FCPEuro? :) If you could link me that would be great! I’m planning on purchasing my VTT turbos by December :)

      Correct, installed at Ivan's shop. Also may I recommend Mosselman turbos as a choice? They are among the best on the market imho

      @@BMWDIYGuy Thisnis my first time hearing about Mossleman turbos other than Kratos and Pures! I’ll look into it. Thank you sir.

    • @BMWDIYGuy
      @BMWDIYGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @ArtemisArtz they are what I installed and perform at Kratos level without Kratos prices. I also have yet to hear of a single failure. Capable of 800whp and more. I am at stock internals limit of 745whp now. I cannot recommend them more highly and you MIGHT still be able to get them on black Friday discount

    Hiya, I’m thinking of getting these for my f82, I don’t really track the car and don’t have access to e85 (based in the uk booo), I’m thinking of getting the eu5 m5 injectors, question is, is it worth installing this will I see noticeable gains ?

    • @BMWDIYGuy
      @BMWDIYGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to make sure you are feeding those new injectors fully. I wouldn't do one without the other. Greater fueling will improve your power across the range, especially working with a tuner like Cary Jordan. This wasn't just for E85 tunes for me.

    • @mertkeles2963

      Hey thanks for this, I’ve placed my order and will get this kit fitted, I like your other vid on flex fuel, so will get that as well (seems like a quick and easy install). Love the vids- love from the uk

    I won’t be attempting to do this myself but would like to get this installed along with EU5 injectors. How much time should I expect to be billed for the install?

    • @BMWDIYGuy
      @BMWDIYGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally understand that and not a small job for sure.. I have a hard time predicting what your shop time will be, as I have seen radically different quotes. I have seen 4-6 hours, and also much more than that.

    What makes you choose this over getting port injectors added with stage 4 low pressure fuel pump?

    • @BMWDIYGuy
      @BMWDIYGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question and a lot of interesting choices in upgrading fueling. Going with the Dorch HPFP is a great way to stay all straight direct injection and no additional hardware like PI or a PI controller. It can also reduce the complexity of the tune by adding a PI controller. So its really a matter of choice and which direction to go with your build. Dorch makes a fantastic product that can easily take you past 800hp with the right supporting components.

      @@BMWDIYGuy I see... I've heard a good amount of people do this, that's why I was asking. Seems like a good idea for staying as close to "stock" as you can. I personally went with the port injections from precision race works along with the fuel pump and pi controller. I'm sure both work great!
