A )We have more than 30% of total surgeries performed in our clinic are revision / corrective surgeries
There are plenty of reasons for failure of surgery
1 . Mainly in effective grafts harvesting eg one punchers 1000 grafts but higher percentage of transaction lead to 500-600 grafts yield ( so there is lot of wastage of grafts , donor area is finite / limited , you can’t take as many grafts as you want )
2. Scarring at the recipient site because usage of substandard instrument
3. Unhygienic operation room standard which gives infection to either donor or recipient site
4. Straight hairline instead of zigzag
5. Implanting 2-3 follicular grafts instead of sung,e follicular grafts in first few rows
6. Poor density , so gaps are seen in impacted area even after surgery

Is DHT is important for human body? If DHT is good for our human body functioning then why we are blocking DHT through finastraide??
With finasteride we are not completely blocking its function . Enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to DHT is blocked upto 65-70% . Obviously it’s not something anyone would love to do. Side effect is minimal and if it’s maintaining hair volume then after discussing with patient we prescribe it .

There are other reasons for hair fall as well like nutritional deficiency or systemic illness or even local dermatological diseases of scalp . My suggestion would be , do an online consultation with doctor or visit a nearest dermatologist for diagnosis and then start treatment. Have a great day

If you are taking it for more than 2 months without any adverse reaction you can stick to it but eventually try to come down on standard dose .

Very genuine and valid question . Here we are not promoting drugs or suggesting patients to consume medicines without prescription
Yes finasteride affect Neuro active steroid levels in plasma and CSF , this is seen in very rare case . However minimal the side effect is there it’s seen in small fraction of patient. May have impact on cognitive function , lead to anxiety or depression. Fortunately we have not seen such case in our 9 years of clinical practice .
Best way is to go to qualified dermatologist and get the diagnosis before starting the treatment . Treating physician can understand your level intent to grow hair or just to support the progressive baldness . He can even judge if the patient is the best candidate for the medicine or not . We have seen that nocebo effect is also very common . So call should be taken based on case to case

Yes bro . Firse continue karo and beech m chhodo mat .i did the same thing .i used Minoxidil for 5 months and then stopped using it . Fir mera hairfall badh gya . Now i am taking finastride 1 mg daily and applying Minoxidil 5% twice daily . Kaafi improvement hua hai .

Yes if you are responding to this molecule, around 70-75 % patient responds to minoxidil. Either they show stability in hair loss or they may even improve the thickness of existing hair
