I bought a 2022 Veloster N recently and I was really pleased with the audio system. My last car was a Subaru WRX, and the difference in sound quality between the two was tremendous. I agree the bass is a little boomy or muddy, but it seems more comparable to what you'd expect in an entry-level luxury car than a Hyunda hot hatch. I absolutely love my Veloster N.
I constantly hear people bashing the system in these cars. I have the 2021 VN DCT and I’ve been fitting stereo systems all of my automotive life (30yrs) i find nothing wrong with this system at all. Take the time to adjust the settings correctly to “your own” specs and you will definitely enjoy a very well put together setup.
I appreciate your input how do you enjoy the dct for spirited driving I know it’s faster but Is it as fulfilling as rowing your own gears? I’m so torn on which one I want.
@@logannextdoor5794 I think if you want the ngs button and the overboost for 20 seconds to 278hp then dct is the one for you but if you like a manual transmission, I heard it is also a good transmission
I had the same system in just a VT2 and I really enjoyed the sound, it was probably one of the better ones I've heard - Given the price point of the vehicle itself, comparing it to others in its segment, its pretty good - I had zero complaints.
I've noticed that when you first listen to a different cars speakers they sound absolutely trash, but after a while they sound allot better. Probably because of your ears being use to certain frequencies, then your ears are exposed to new frequencies and are confused. I dont know what i am talking about, it just sounds good.
@@DailyMotor I would like to replace the full range speakers by the back seats with an upgrade brand to see if I can get a crispier sound on my 2021 Veloster N DCT. What brand model would you recommend? If anyone has swap the speakers, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

@@DailyMotor I know we are talking sound systems here but which one is faster and the better overall performer between the Mazda3 Turbo and Veloster N DCT? From all of the videos I’ve seen it appears the Mazda3 Turbo is more of a luxury car and the Veloster N is more sporty/performance oriented.
@@jakef777 That's very accurate. If you do more sporty driving and less commuting/traveling, I'd do Mazda. If you mostly do casual fun driving, Veloster. There's also the new Elantra and Kona N as options. Slightly less basic feeling than Veloster.
@@DailyMotor I appreciate the reply. I have driven the Mazda3 Turbo but I have never had the chance to drive the Veloster N DCT. How much faster is the Veloster? The Mazda3 felt very tame and laid back. I was expecting more considering the 250/320 horsepower and torque ratings.
Dear Hyundai Veloster N Division, I hope you are reading this. Here are some Cons I would like to address. 1.) There’s an excessive glare on front windshield. 2.) Cabin noise from road. 3.) Please add heated seats and heated steering wheel. 4.) If heated seats can be added, why not add ventilated seats, global warming is increasing the temperature and it’s very hot/humid during summer. 5.) Plastic interior feels and look cheap for a $34K car. I hope the 2022 model addresses these Cons, if not I will go for Mazda 3 Turbo hatchback instead.
I don't think you understand the VN. It's a track focused hatch just like the Type-R. There's a lot of track and performance features that you wouldn't normally get in a $34k car. - Limited Slip Diff -Electronic adjustable suspension and Steering - Dual-mode exhaust - Overdrive modes - A DCT You can adjust almost everything. These are features you wouldn't normally be getting outside of 45-55k sports cars.

Speakers have a break in period so yeah. Speakers will sound better with timex

Im coming from a silverado work truck speaker system so when I get my new veloster on saturday, I'm sure ill be happy hahaha

Is the bass decent in these? Coming from a 2017 mustang gt with the upgraded sound system and sub in the trunk.
Do the doors rattle ? I found this an annoying problem in kia cerato Gt with jbl speakers
If either too much bass is added or if the music is loud then yes the door will rattle

Touch screen is very good! Big improvement over the years from Honda on that front.

I agree with it being an average sounding system...I have a hyundai kona with infinity system and it's not that great.

I had hyperblue brz which is pretty much same price as this and audio system is worse than this. so for 30k car like this is bargain.
