After beating him once with Cold Backhand Blades with no shields or summons to know I can do it on my own, every other time he's getting shield poked or ganked lmao
Imo he's an amazing fight, and the number of times you said "holy shit" while dodging his attacks as you discovered them is part of why Like we fought a god once as a human and then as a giant spaceship, how bad could a DLC side story boss be... Now it's a tag team between a god and radahn and we have to deal with a radahn not using any power to protect Leonard Fleeing for the hills as everything explodes into divine light feels appropriate
looks like you went through pretty much the same experience as I. I ended up doing milady main hand, misericorde offhand with parry AoW on it. BTW if you ever go against him again, you have time for a poke after each parry that actually open him up for a crit hit. After parry before crit, I had the time to poke with milady (light attack), then two handing misericord to get the crit, so you definitely have time for a poke with just misericorde main hand. The window seems actually shorter than it is coz of the animation of him getting up, but there's still time.
I beat him with a single Milady. He's hard but still not impossible. Literally use any and all tools available to beat them. Elden Ring's tool chest is unrivaled.

nicely done man ... i spent 18 hours so far on him and still didnt beat him ...
but well i'll get the W soon enough
You got this!
Use Impenetrable Thorns before it gets nerfed. It's how I managed to squeak out the win.
this was impressive ngl
Your more a man than me I beat him with a shield and rapier on ng +8
Nice bro
People act like using a shield is some "weak" way to play. Use shields and stop rolling all the time.
The deflecting tear feels so good in this fight, don't even need a shield if you're using anything worth 2handing and can time the perfect blocks well
