Yeah I edit in Lightroom mostly. But you can use this method to get a different look from camera as well if that’s the colour you want

I used this camera for some time for photography i guess it ok but won’t give you the results you wish for cuz it’s made for video in low light you will see some grain but in a good light it will give you acceptable results for instagram i think sony could’ve made a better camera out of it but it’s for video so …
If you are posting on IG I think the photo quality is ok :)
I agreed that Sony can definitely provide better camera, but consider it’s the cheapest in ZV series, maybe they already tried the best with the margin 👀 maybe ~

*it's not a Bad Camera, and I think it is a great starter camera for TH-camrs who love Vlogging. The upgrade too this would be the ZV-E10. I had the original ZV-1 for about 3yrs and it was a great camera*

Meow meow - what do you think of sony zv-1? I've always been a prime lens user but I found myself not taking more creative shots during my travel due to the focal length limitation so I'm thinking of exploring zoom lenses instead. Thanks for this video. :)
In this case get a zoom lens! As long as it inspires you do shoot more :)
I’m the opposite, I used zoom lens a lot while travel back then but always struggle to make a decision in which focal length should I use, I was fiddling too much with the camera and prime solve this issue, as it force me to one focus length so I just need to look for beauty moment and compose them without using too much brain CPU 👹
I can relate with your experience as well, some time I felt the same while using prime lens, I guess we have to alternate different gears when come to creating, just like painter have to use different paint to create.🎨📸

I think of doing street photography and it gets me nervous, but watching you feels like it is less stressful than I make it to be. It looks very fun.
I gave people a BIG SMILE every time before i press the shutter button ( sometime after.. be stealthy🤫) just be kind, and protect your own energy as well, don't be too upset if someone is being rude, they might having a bad day, if some one I approached ask me if I can delete the photo, i will do so~ just wanted to create a positive vibe to everyone while getting great photos (as bonus) !

@@BroccoliBeers good reason. I was asking in case there was a technical reason. I'm in the same situation, I guess I'll buy the zv1f but it doesn't have an nd filter or focus like the others... it's worth thinking if I shouldn't save a little more
Yeah if money is not as tight you can try better gears ! I wouldn’t recommend to get ZV-1F to my friend sometime because of the single focus length.
Just don’t limit yourself by the gears as you are the creator not camera 👹✨

Thankyou!! I never try it on food photography that much but wide angle can definitely make your food photo unique if you know how to use it !
No camera is bad camera, but Zv1f is a modern camera with no raw, no ibis, at this price point it's not worth it. 20mm is not always a good focal length, every time u have to get pretty close to the model. This is a fun toy but it is even less usable than a handphone
Not sure if it’s less usable than phone but it gives me joys that I can’t get it from using my phone!

yes I did use the creative style in PT mode to get the skin tone look better and switch the white balance toward green and yellow a little in camera, I like it that way 😁

I’m using Manual mode, with auto ISO and constantly change the shutter speed and aperture base on the look or the scene I’m in.
Also I change the creative style to PT. As it will provide a healthy skin tone, I think I might make a video sharing the tips soon ! Thanks for asking !

I’m shooting this using creative style in PT mode, it make the skin looks better and I set the white balance toward yellow / green side cause that’s the look I like and I can save a lot of time or don’t even need to do any post editing :)

Generic. Might have been cute back in 2015, but nothing stands out. You have to tell a story with _Street Photography_ or create mystery, intrigue. Random pictures of anything means nothing……..*You’re better than this.*

And when I look back at my old videos, I can see my progress…I know im improving at my own pace 😬
From my first video until now, I've tried different lenses, cameras, POV angles, voiceovers, model shoots, and approaching more strangers. I hope to get better at storytelling in the future as well like what you mentioned.
Until now, I really like my recent videos. They might not tell a story or convey a big message, but they show the simple happiness I feel doing street photography. (And people seem to like it as well 🥹)
I hope I can share my happiness through my videos and I like to think that I’m slowly getting there !
